Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing and PR, the Marketing Intern will learn the basics of venue marketing and assist with all the activities of the Marketing department for Snapdragon Stadium to maximize the public awareness of all events, increase ticket sales, achieve budget goals, and increase market share growth for the facility. The Marketing Internship gives students the opportunity to go behind the curtains to understand how to market and promote a variety of events. This role will collaborate and learn from a team with a proven track record of advancing careers in the industry backed by the leading venue management company, OVG360. This role is expected to last from from February 17, 2026 and will end on May 15, 2026. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 This position will remain open until April 24, 2026. About the Venue Opened in September 2022, Snapdragon Stadium is a 35,000-seat multipurpose venue that serves as the home for San Diego State University football, San Diego Wave FC (NWSL soccer), San Diego FC (MLS soccer), major concerts and festivals, professional sports, international soccer, entertainment events and private special events. Responsibilities Assist in creating engaging content to increase engagement and drive follower growth across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok for Snapdragon Stadium. Attend Snapdragon Stadium events to capture live photo and video content. Research and implement grassroots, third party, and digital marketing strategies and initiatives. Prepare any necessary analyses of website, social media platforms, and email database to capitalize on new/existing revenue opportunities. Research venue marketing trends and strategies and apply best practices to boost brand visibility and fan engagement. Assist with all general marketing and PR needs as assigned. Collaborate closely with each department to ensure all event aspects are accurate and running accordingly. Special projects with other adjacent departments such as Booking, Private Event Sales and Ticketing.
