Job DescriptionProgram Lead - Lead DirectSupportProfessional (DSP) - $1000 Hiring Bonus Schedule: Full-Time Are you an experienced DirectSupportProfessional (DSP) looking to grow in your role? Community Access Services is now hiring a Program Lead in Beaverton, OR - a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in the field while continuing to provide hands-on, person-centered support.
As a Program Lead, you'll continue to work directly with the individuals we serve while taking on additional responsibilities that support the day-to-day success of the home. This role is perfect for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about high-quality care.
What You'll Do as a Program Lead:
Build supportive, person-centered relationships that foster independence and dignity.
Assist with daily living skills, including meal prep, budgeting, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community outings, recreation, appointments, and personal goals.
Encourage skill-building and social connection.
Follow individualized support plans (training provided).
Administer medications and keep accurate documentation.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
We're Looking For in a Program Lead:
Previous experience supporting individuals with IDD
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license and ability to become an approved company driver.
Ability to pass a national background check.
Compassionate communicator with patience and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.

You will collaborate with the Day Habilitation Program Director and participants to develop and implement a daily schedule. ABOUT YOU You will assist participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and treat all participants respectfully at all times.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Engage the participants in appropriate social conversations and self- awareness throughout program hours (including transportation)
Discuss and implement appropriate behavior and social skills in a variety of settings
Promote academics, daily living skills, social skills, and vocational skills during program hours (including transportation)
Participate in developing and completing goals, or valued outcomes of each participant
Communicate program needs to Director in a timely and effective manner in regards to needed supplies, vehicle maintenance, participant issues, etc.
Transport individuals to and from program in agency vehicles, and during offsite activities
Follow all rules, regulations, and laws as set forth by the State of New York and OPWDD in regards to the operation of vehicles and transportation of participants
Maintain and encourage professionalism with Day Hab participants in the community, and in the building
Maintain daily and monthly records in accordance with regulatory guidelines including: goal sheets, logs, and any additional paperwork
Lead sessions on socialization and academics
Actively engage with participants during all activities through conversation, modeling, and providing direct assistance
Participate in all JCC and OPWDD trainings as assigned
Ensure all participant safeguards are met (line of sight protocols, proximity protocols, meal time protocols, fully assist participants, etc.)
Assist participants with toileting when needed
Medication Administration
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
