Qualifications:
Level I: Has a credential or certification in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, or related field.
Level II: Has an AA/AS Degree in Child Development, Social Science, Psychology, Human Development, Liberal Studies, or related field + 1 year of client casework experience. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Level III: Has a BA/BS Degree in Child Development, Social Science, Psychology, Human Development, Liberal Studies, or related field + 1 year of client casework experience.

As a Family Services Specialist you will:
Recruit and enroll children into the program.
Understand and adhere to program policies, confidentiality, privacy, and ethical practices.
Orient parents to comprehensive services including Health, Nutrition, Education, Disabilities, Mental Health, Parent Engagement, and ERSEA.
Support Migrant and Seasonal Head Start families, linking them with referral systems and community services.
Serve as a liaison for referrals, ensuring services are beneficial and effective.
Discuss the importance of coordinating health, social, and educational services for children's learning and family well-being.
Assist families in finding health and dental care, encouraging involvement in the healthcare system.
Participate in special health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
Know local social services and community resources, including health, mental health, nutrition, parenting, financial literacy, education, enrichment, recreation, job training, and employment.
Plan monthly local parent committee meetings with the Family Child Coordinator, providing support and encouragement.
Support Parent Meetings by scheduling guest speakers, preparing agendas, and signing in attendees.
Encourage parent participation in program and community events.
Attend and participate in community collaborations.
Maintain accurate documentation of services to families and children.
Maintain knowledge of database programs (e.g., ChildPlus).
Complete reports and follow-up as requested by Content experts and Area Manager/Center Supervisor.
Transport parents and/or children to meetings, health and other service appointments, when necessary.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Home-Based, Floater Teacher at Catholic Charities:
Supports the Home-Based team when planned or unplanned extended absences occur such as a Sabbatical or Leave of Absence.
Plans and develops with parents an individualized program for their family, through establishing a caring professional relationship and a climate of mutual trust and respect through weekly home visits.
Works with families to strengthen their knowledge of child development; helps parents understand how children learn and grow; plans and conducts appropriate activities together with parents that meet their child's intellectual, physical, emotional and social needs.
Works with parents to strengthen the family's knowledge of health and nutrition, by integrating health and nutrition education into the program, coordinating with other staff and parents health screenings for family members and providing information and referrals, if necessary.
Assists parents in strengthening their knowledge of community resources and supports parents in developing problem solving skills.
Provides developmental screenings and information to parents and families and provides referrals to other agencies when appropriate.
Plans and implements the appropriate number of socializations according to Head Start Performance Standards.
Maintains accurate and timely program data to meet reporting requirements. Enters data and generates reports.
Ensures accurate and complete records are maintained.
Completes necessary administrative duties (paperwork, etc.) timely and accurately.
Works with parents to develop weekly home visit activity plans based on each child's developmental assessment and the Family Partnership Agreement.
Manages and informs parents of scheduled field trips, extracurricular activities and other scheduled activities.
Prepares and submits internal and external reports and documentation in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, guidelines and operating standards.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying the practices and principles of child development and early childhood education; child health, safety, and nutrition; adult learning; and family dynamics.
Skilled in communicating with and motivating people, including people whose first language is not English
Must be knowledgeable of all Head Start Program Performance Standards
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English and Spanish

Special Requirements
Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. * Juvenile Correctional Counselor class, which are experienced counselors who are expected to perform at a higher level of competence with only general supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Incumbents must be able to work in a restricted, sometimes hostile environment.
* Incumbents may be required to lift objects weighing more than 100 pounds with assistance.
* Employees in this class will be working in a detention facility environment and thus will be subject to exposure to communicable diseases, disruptive and confrontational people, potentially combative and violent people, intense noises, odors, and blood and other bodily fluids.
* Hours of Work: Incumbents may be required to work weekends, holidays, irregular hours, on-call, and after normal business hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This class specification represents the core area of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.
* Learns how to ensure the security, daily care and custody of youth within a pod including counseling, mediating disputes, monitoring group dynamics amongst youth, assisting in emergency situations, serving meals and overseeing laundry care and distribution, logging and dispensing inhalers and medicated shampoo as prescribed by medical staff, and performing all other duties to oversee the health and safety of those in custody.
* Learns to provide crisis intervention counseling including suicide prevention counseling, to youth.
* Learns when and how to refer youth to behavioral health.
* Learns to provide general counseling and cognitive behavioral training to give support or to modify youths' behavior; may give personal guidance and counseling to reduce anxiety and tension of youth who are detained.
* Learns to facilitate Cognitive Behavioral Training (CBT) groups; implements behavioral management program; conducts CBT mini-cycles with youth; creates and monitors weekly and monthly case plans.
* Learns to manage assaultive behavior; prepares behavior summaries and written daily observations, including special incident reports for youths on a daily basis or as needed; enforces the policies and procedures of the institution.
* Learns to plan recreation and other activities independently for medium to large groups of justice involved youth of varying ages, gender, ability and sophistication.
* Learns to monitor individual and group behavior and attitudes independently to avoid and manage conflicts; maintains constant observation; conduct safety and security checks; conducts authorized felony or misdemeanor searches of youth and all required institutional searches; supervises work, school and study time, meal time, clean-up, visits, and all other group activities of youth; documents the behavior of individuals by writing timely reports and keeping accurate records.
* Learns to process youth during intake to the facility. Orients all youth to the facility setting and to staff expectations. Instructs youth in social and life skills.
* Learns procedures to transport youth to medical, dental, court or other mandatory appointments.
* Learns to provide emergency medical first aid treatment as needed.
* Inspects incoming and outgoing mail; calculates and records point totals for behavior management; issues supplies.
* Learns to conduct drug testing of youth.
* Learns to assist in providing treatment in a community-based program; assists in rehabilitation by facilitating an integrated system of care, using the expertise of other agencies and personnel; facilitates conferences with families and assigned personnel; acts as a liaison with and supportsfamilies; provides vocational assessments and educational support.
* May appear in court to answer questions or serve as a witness.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completion of thirty (30) semester units is required from an accredited college or university, preferably in criminology, social work, psychology, sociology or a closely related field.
OR
Experience: Six (6) months of related experience supervising groups in a detention facility.
LICENSING, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
* Applicants are required to possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid California Driver's license, Class C.
* Incumbents are required to possess a current First Aid and Personal Safety certificate or obtain one within 60 days of appointment.
* Incumbents are required to possess a current CPR certificate or obtain one within 60 days of appointment.
* Incumbents have limited Peace Officer powers as delineated in the California Penal Code and therefore are required to complete training under Section 832 of the California Penal Code or equivalent within twelve (12) months of appointment.
* Peace Officers must meet minimum standards concerning citizenship, age, character, education and physical/mental condition as set forth in Section 1031 of the California Government Code.
* Incumbents are required to complete the Juvenile Counselor Core Course certified by the California Board of State and Community Corrections Standards and Training for Correctional Programs or equivalent with twelve (12) months of appointment.
Note: All licenses, certificates and registrations must be kept current while employed in this class.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Mobility and Dexterity: Positions in this class typically require stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, grasping, feeling (i.e., sense of touch), and repetitive motion for 50% of a typical shift but may be higher.
* Lifting, Carrying, Pushing and Pulling: Positions in this class require exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly, to move objects. Occasionally may require physical restraint of youth including lifting and holding in excess of 100 pounds with assistance.
* Vision: Positions in this class require the employee to have close visual acuity, with or without correction, to prepare and analyze data and figures, view a computer terminal, read, etc. Positions in this class also require employees to have depth perception in order to operate a motor vehicle. Employees in this class must have the visual acuity to make observations of surroundings and must demonstrate color vision sufficient to distinguish colors in order to describe events in an accurate manner.
* Hearing/Talking: Positions in this class require the employee to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and have the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication. Positions in this class require the employee to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. Detailed or important instructions must often be conveyed to others accurately, loudly, and/or quickly.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Must pass a physical exam and psychological exam as a condition of hire.
* Independent Travel: Incumbents are required to travel independently, for example, to attend meetings, trainings, classes and seminars and to transport juveniles.
* Background Checks: The County may conduct a background check and a reference check on candidates prior to appointment to a position within this class. The background check may include the State of California Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Child Abuse Central Index (CACI), and criminal checks in any City/County where the applicant has lived, worked or gone to school.
* Drug Testing: Candidates for positions in this class and employees in this class will be subject to Pre-Employment, Reasonable Suspicion, Post Accident, Return-To-Duty and Follow-Up drug testing in accordance with the Solano County Alcohol and Drug Free Workplace Policy.
* Child Abuse Reporting: Selectees for employment must, as a condition of employment, sign a statement agreeing to comply with Section 11166 of the California Penal Code relating to child abuse reporting.

Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Provides care management for consumers receiving OPTIONS services, as well as those consumers appearing on the Office of Aging waiting list.
Works with consumer and family to assess need, develop and implement a safe and comprehensive Individual Service Plan (ISP).
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This employee reports to and has frequent contact with supervisor concerning situations, care management issues, and work assignments.
Supervisory meetings are held monthly to review workload, and to discuss specific assignments, issues and concerns, and employee matters.
Supervisor oversees work by reviewing all case records in database, Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and other paperwork, by making joint supervisory visits as needed, and through observation of overall employee performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Completes comprehensive Individualized Service Plans (based on medical model and assessed need), documents according to requirements, interprets program policies and monitors consumer situations and provision of services on regular basis via home visits and phone contacts with consumers and caregivers to ensure that services meet the needs of the consumer. Includes coordinating services of formal contracted providers, formal non-contracted providers, and informal providers such as family or friends to complete worksheets and establish back up plans for consumers to ensure that care plan is safe and meets consumer needs. Communicates ongoingly with all providers of services to discuss consumer emergencies and needs, and to inform of any changes in care plans. (40%)
Completes required paperwork and data entry, including extensive case documentation, according to PA Department of Aging and agency standards for OPTIONS consumers (60%)
In the course of performing job duties, employee will be required on a routine basis to provide own transportation to consumers homes, meetings and other job-related appointments and access those locations without special accommodations.
OTHER SPECIFIC TASKS OR DUTIES
Maintains accurate knowledge of all aging services and thorough working knowledge of community services.
Attends all mandated training sponsored by Department of Aging relative to community services and programs (including enrichment sessions).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of six (6) months of experience with the County as a Caseworker Trainee; or
Successful completion of the County Social Caseworker Intern Program; or

Role description
Under general supervision, eligibility workers serve clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds by reviewing and determining initial and continuing eligibility for a variety of human services programs. Positions in this classification require strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and respond with empathy and professionalism. Job Description This is the entry-level class in the Protective Services Worker series.
Adult Protective Services (APS) is a state-mandated program administered by the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF), HSA, and DAS.
Under general supervision by the APS program, the Protective Services Worker (PSW) receives and responds to reports of suspected “elder” and “dependent adult” abuse including neglect, self-neglect, and financial abuse.
The PSW performs professional investigations and case management services to victims of abuse.
This includes activities related to evaluating the level of harm or risk of harm, to the person and the estate of an “elder” or “dependent adult;” assessing biopsychosocial functioning, including the medical condition, cognitive/psychological status, and adequacy of care and support system; orchestrating ongoing services to maximize the use of community resources, and to help protect victims from further harm once the case is closed.
Essential Duties and Functions According to Civil Service Commission Rule 109, the duties specified below are representative of the range of duties assigned to this job class and are not intended to be an inclusive list.
Conducts unannounced visits to see elders and dependent adults in their living environment.
Investigates the allegations and conducts a risk assessment through interviewing the victim, family, relatives, neighbors, and others to assess for immediacy.
Arranges for immediate protective interventions and emergency services as necessary, including medical assessments, emergency shelter, or in-home protection, e.
g.
acts as a liaison on the medical aspects of the case with providers of services and other agencies that provide medical care, until the immediate dangers are resolved.
Gathers, documents, and reviews important detailed financial, personal, and confidential information, and writes investigative reports, findings, and service plan notes.
Conducts a needs assessment for clients in need of protective services.
Develops a Service Plan and organizes the initial care plan as appropriate, including supported decision-making activities.
Provides counseling for clients and significant others to alleviate the identified problems and to implement the service plan to restore optimum social functioning, and health adjustment within the client's capacity; assists them in order to address personal and environmental difficulties, which perpetuate poor health and dysfunction, and interfere with self-care and self-protection.
Monitors the Service Plan and follows up through field visits and telephone contacts with clients, relatives, and other concerned individuals until the service goals have been achieved.
Assists with multidisciplinary team meetings with healthcare providers, hospitals, and the Public Health/Mental Health Department, and other City agencies involved to further their understanding of significant social and emotional factors underlying the client's health, social, or environmental problems.
Designs interventions in collaboration with medical professionals, social service providers, law enforcement, or other relevant systems by contributing with information to help determine the level of care and services pertinent to the client's welfare.
Provides education to individuals and agencies on the role and authority of APS.
Conducts public presentations about casework in a confidential, multi-disciplinary setting; collaborates and cooperates with the community and the CCSF partner agencies.
Uses a personal computer to prepare, review, and maintain records, correspondence, and reports; manages case documentation in an APS database; maintains timely email correspondence.
Qualifications 1.
Education: Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE); OR Master's Degree from a two (2) year counseling program from an accredited college or university.
(Qualifying Master's Degrees in counseling include Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Addiction Counseling and Counseling Psychology that included a supervised field placement as part of the course curriculum); AND 2.
Experience: Satisfactory completion of two semesters of graduate field placement which involved the provision of direct services to elders and/or dependent adults and/or adults with physical, cognitive or mental health disabilities in one of the following or closely related areas: Adult Protective Services, intensive case management such as MSSP/Linkages, medical social work in a hospital or clinic, mental health program/agency, home health agency, or alcohol and drug counseling and treatment program; OR Six (6) months post-baccalaureate professional work experience which involved the provision of direct services to elders, dependent adults, or adults in one of the areas previously described.

Job Description Under general supervision, Protective Service Workers perform professional investigation, case management, and casework services at the Family & Children's Services program.

Role description
Under general supervision, positions in class 2940 Protective Services Worker within the Office of the Public Conservator in the Department of Aging and Adult Services provide a broad range of clinical/advocacy services to temporary/permanent conservatees and collateral contact with a multidisciplinary team. In general, an average caseload is approximately 65 clients and can be more or less depending on case intensity and program capacity.
The target population of this office is individuals who are gravely disabled, (unable to provide for food, clothing and shelter as a result of chronic mental illness and/or chronic alcoholism), as a result of major mental illness as defined by the Diagnostic Statistical Manuel (DSM). The population also includes individuals who may have involvement with the Criminal Justice System and are being held in jail and State Hospitals or other facilities designated for those who have committed, or are alleged to have committed a crime.
The Office of Conservatorship Services has an average caseload of 700, with approximately half of these individuals placed outside of San Francisco County in either locked psychiatric facilities or residential care homes. Therefore travel is required in order to meet the needs of the conservatee and our service mandate by State and County regulations. The average number of miles driven per month is 350.
The 2940 is responsible for managing an independent caseload and is assigned mental health (LPS) conservatorship investigations as well. This involves interaction with Mental Health Court, including Public Defender and District Attorney, Department of Public Health, hospitals, jails and community agencies. In addition to assessments and making recommendations for levels of care, the conservator is also responsible for advocating these recommendations, which may at time be at conflict with the interests of other stakeholders.
Basic computer skills are required to perform charting on electronic systems (Avatar and Panoramic), emailing (the bulk of inter and intra agency communication is done through e-mail).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

* Conducts investigations to determine eligibility for psychiatric care and services, including interviews and information gathered from collateral sources.
* Conducts regular in-person visits in a variety of settings including jail, state hospital, inpatient acute psychiatric units, locked psychiatric treatment centers and skilled nursing facilities as well as community settings within and outside the City and County of San Francisco.
* Conducts crisis interventions during business hours or after hours.
* Completes time sensitive court reports and provision of expert testimony witness to the Superior Court as needed.
* Evaluates and approves psychiatric treatment and medications included in clients care plans.
* Continually assesses appropriateness of placements and the least restrictive level of care.
* Completes various types of applications and forms related to placement, legal, financial, and medical issues.
* Utilizes productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite to complete various work duties including coordinating case conferences, presentations, and communicating with team members and other necessary service providers..
* Documents cases in a clinically significant and timely manner using applicable digital case management system.
* Works collaboratively with other city departments, including Public Health, Police, Jail, and City Attorney's Office.

Role description
This is the entry-level class in the Protective Services Worker series. Adult Protective Services (APS) is a state-mandated program administered by the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF), HSA, and DAS. Under general supervision by the APS program, the Protective Services Worker (PSW) receives and responds to reports of suspected "elder" and "dependent adult" abuse including neglect, self-neglect, and financial abuse. The PSW performs professional investigations and case management services to victims of abuse. This includes activities related to evaluating the level of harm or risk of harm, to the person and the estate of an "elder" or "dependent adult;" assessing biopsychosocial functioning, including the medical condition, cognitive/psychological status, and adequacy of care and support system; orchestrating ongoing services to maximize the use of community resources, and to help protect victims from further harm once the case is closed.
Essential Duties and Functions
According to Civil Service Commission Rule 109, the duties specified below are representative of the range of duties assigned to this job class and are not intended to be an inclusive list.
* Conducts unannounced visits to see elders and dependent adults in their living environment.
* Investigates the allegations and conducts a risk assessment through interviewing the victim, family, relatives, neighbors, and others to assess for immediacy.
* Arranges for immediate protective interventions and emergency services as necessary, including medical assessments, emergency shelter, or in-home protection, e.g. acts as a liaison on the medical aspects of the case with providers of services and other agencies that provide medical care, until the immediate dangers are resolved.
* Gathers, documents, and reviews important detailed financial, personal, and confidential information, and writes investigative reports, findings, and service plan notes.
* Conducts a needs assessment for clients in need of protective services.
* Develops a Service Plan and organizes the initial care plan as appropriate, including supported decision-making activities.
* Provides counseling for clients and significant others to alleviate the identified problems and to implement the service plan to restore optimum social functioning, and health adjustment within the client's capacity; assists them in order to address personal and environmental difficulties, which perpetuate poor health and dysfunction, and interfere with self-care and self-protection.
* Monitors the Service Plan and follows up through field visits and telephone contacts with clients, relatives, and other concerned individuals until the service goals have been achieved.
* Assists with multidisciplinary team meetings with healthcare providers, hospitals, and the Public Health/Mental Health Department, and other City agencies involved to further their understanding of significant social and emotional factors underlying the client's health, social, or environmental problems.
* Designs interventions in collaboration with medical professionals, social service providers, law enforcement, or other relevant systems by contributing with information to help determine the level of care and services pertinent to the client's welfare.
* Provides education to individuals and agencies on the role and authority of APS.
* Conducts public presentations about casework in a confidential, multi-disciplinary setting; collaborates and cooperates with the community and the CCSF partner agencies.
* Uses a personal computer to prepare, review, and maintain records, correspondence, and reports; manages case documentation in an APS database; maintains timely email correspondence.
How to qualify
1. Education:
Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE);
OR
Master's Degree from a two (2) year counseling program from an accredited college or university. (Qualifying Master's Degrees in counseling include Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Addiction Counseling and Counseling Psychology that included a supervised field placement as part of the course curriculum);
AND
2. Experience:
Satisfactory completion of two semesters of graduate field placement which involved the provision of direct services to elders and/or dependent adults and/or adults with physical, cognitive or mental health disabilities in one of the following or closely related areas: Adult Protective Services, intensive case management such as MSSP/Linkages, medical social work in a hospital or clinic, mental health program/agency, home health agency, or alcohol and drug counseling and treatment program;
OR
Six (6) months post-baccalaureate professional work experience which involved the provision of direct services to elders, dependent adults, or adults in one of the areas previously described.

Special Requirements
The essential duties of this position require incumbents to: work nights, weekends and holidays on a limited basis; drive, normally within the City of San Francisco and occasionally outside City/County limits as necessitated by case work; to get in and out of vehicles, climb flights of stairs to complete home visits; lift food boxes weighing up to 30 pounds; and complete visual assessments of elders/dependent adults and their home environments.

SELECTION PROCEDURES
After application submission, candidates deemed qualified must complete all subsequent steps to advance in this selection process, which includes the following:
Written Examination - Multiple Choice (100%):
Candidates who meet the minimum qualification will be invited to a written multiple choice exam designed to measure knowledge, skills and/or abilities in job-related areas which may include but are not limited to: ability and skill to assess, knowledge of psycho-social functioning development, individual psychodynamics, family dynamics, and social systems; knowledge of socio-economics factors; knowledge of and ability to apply relevant laws; ability to assess the client's functioning, safety, and to develop an appropriate case plan.
Score Banking: Scores attained on the Protective Services Worker Exam for Adult Protective Services will be 'banked' for two years, starting from the date of the examination. This means that, during this two-year time period, candidates need not take this test again. However, after one year, a candidate has the option to either (a) keep the same score and apply their test score to the other announcement or (b) re-take the test. Re-testing is permitted no sooner than one year from the date of the test. If a candidate opts to re-test, the re-test score becomes the candidate's official score since it is the most recent.
If a significant modification is made to this exam in the future, the application of "banked" scores may no longer be appropriate. In such a rare circumstance, candidates with "banked" scores would be required to re-take the exam sooner than the two-year period specified above should they apply to another job opportunity where the modified exam is used.
The above test component is considered standardized and, therefore, test questions and answers are not available for public inspection or review.
Candidate scores on this examination may also be applied to other announcements involving other job titles, when directed by the Human Resources Director.
A passing score must be achieved on the Written Multiple Choice Examination in order to continue in the selection process.
What else should I know?
Eligible List/Score Report: A confidential eligible list of applicant names that have passed the civil service examination process will be created, and used for certification purposes only. KVSP is a Level IV facility consisting of four semi-autonomous 180 designed facilities and two stand-alone Administrative Segregation Units, all surrounded by a Lethal Electrified Perimeter Fence.
This is a Correctional Institution open 24 hours/7 days a week, all positions will be office centered.

Family support specialist job at Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County
Must be fluent in two or more languages, including one that supports the needs of the program and community. Under the direct supervision of the Family Child Care Manager (FCCM), the Family Child Care Program Coordinator (FCCPC) assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring Family Child Care services for families enrolled in Child, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) programs. The FCCPC coordinates, assists and provides training and technical assistance to staff as defined by federal performance regulations, state requirements, and evidenced-based practices. This position supports CAPSLO's mission by coordinating the family child care program option serving children and families.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), or related field.
Must have three years of experience in a related field. One of the years must be working with family child care.
One-year supervisory, administrative, or training/monitoring experience in early childhood education preferred.
Must have dependable, insured transportation and valid California Driver License (mileage to be reimbursed) and acceptable driving record. A DMV printout and proof of insurance will be required.
As a Family Child Care Program Coordinator:
Collaborate with the Program Director and leadership teams to develop, implement, and update FCC program plans, policies, and procedures aligned with all regulations.
Support compliance by monitoring provider files, child files, children's attendance, and overall adherence to performance standards.
Coordinate and deliver training for FCC staff and contracted providers on program requirements and curriculum use.
Work with Area Managers, Coordinators, and other program staff to integrate education, health, disabilities, nutrition, and family engagement services into FCC programming.
Participate in annual reviews, self‑assessments, community needs assessments, and data collection to drive program improvement.
Strengthen family communication, support parent engagement, and ensure cultural traditions and beliefs are respected.
Assist with recruiting FCC providers, representing the program at community events, and building supportive partnerships.
Mentor and support Family Child Care Coordinators and participate in CYFS meetings to maintain consistent division-wide practices.
Uphold CAPSLO's mission, safety expectations, and organizational standards while carrying out additional responsibilities as needed.
