This position plays a critical leadership role in monitoring and working with staff and leadership to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all processes relevant to the entire revenue cycle-from patient registration and insurance verification to claims submission and collections. Support clinical providers to ensure documentation, coding, and billing align with payer guidelines and reflect services delivered. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency. Design and deliver training for revenue cycle staff to improve effectiveness and consistency. Lead efforts to prevent denials through proactive eligibility, coverage review, coding accuracy, and compliance with payer rules. Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to leadership. Work with leadership and staff to ensure the organization maintains compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, as well as state and federal regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum 10 years of experience in dental or medical revenue cycle management. Health plan/payer experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of CDT codes, dental insurance processes, and EOB interpretation. Experience with state public programs, benefits, codes and billing processes. Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work onsite, including travel to all Community Dental Care locations. Certification in medical/dental billing or coding (e.g., CMRS, CPB) is a plus.
