Family support specialist staff must have minimally enough credit hours to equivalate to an associate's degree and be able to obtain their MHRT/CSP upon hire. Expected to have experience working with children and families. You will work with the families in their homes on remaining safe in the home, coping strategies, parenting skills, connecting to resources, etc. You will have the support of clinical level staff through your direct supervisor or clinical back up throughout your work. Not a typical Monday - Friday 8am -5pm schedule, you make your own hours with the families you serve.

MaineHealth Neurology is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Neurologist with a 2-year surgical epilepsy fellowship to join our Neurology Department as Medical Director of Intracranial Epilepsy Monitoring Program. The Medical Director will have responsibilities for patient care as well as development of our intracranial monitoring program. This position is based on the MaineHealth Scarborough Campus with on-site MRI and neurodiagnostic lab, and the nearby EMU at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Opportunities for research are supported through MaineHealth Institute for Research and committed time for research could be accommodated through a dedicated academic pathway.
Our Comprehensive Epilepsy Program is a level III Epilepsy Center and treats over 4000 patients per year. Our program currently consists of five epileptologists (three adult and two pediatric), two dedicated nurse practitioners, five nurses, and nurse navigator. We work collaboratively with our fellowship-trained epilepsy/functional neurosurgeon, neuroradiologists, nuclear medicine, and dedicated neuropsychologist and psychometrician as we develop a level IV comprehensive epilepsy program. We have 5 EMU beds (three adult and two pediatric beds) in addition to a fully accredited, inpatient and outpatient neurodiagnostics labs and 3T MRI.
Opportunity Highlights:
Join a well-established Neurology Department consisting of 35+ sub-specialty trained Adult and Pediatric neurologists, Neurohospitalists, and Advanced Practice Professionals supported by a robust clinical and administrative team, including onsite pharmacist, behavioral health counselor, social worker, neuropsychologist and psychometrician.
Hospital admission service, stroke and telestroke care, as well as after-hours phone call coverage is provided by a team of dedicated Neurohospitalists.
Inpatient coverage is limited to an equitable share of daytime coverage on the neurology consult service four to five weeks per year.
Opportunity to teach MaineHealth Neurology residents in our onsite neurology residency (4 residents/year), residents and fellows from other departments, and Tufts MS IV and other rotating medical students.
Academic appointment is conferred through affiliation with Tufts medical school and opportunities for academic advancement are available.

Expected Compensation

The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. Whether you're assisting with daily routines, helping manage medications, or simply offering a listening ear, your presence matters. This is a role that blends teamwork and autonomy, flexibility and structure-and above all, heart.
Pay:
$24.15/hr (without MHRT-I)
$24.70/hr (with MHRT-I certification)
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 11:30 AM-9:30 PM
About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker II, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on support to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness. You'll assist residents with daily living, help implement treatment plans, support crisis interventions, and maintain a safe and welcoming home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living (meals, hygiene, chores, etc.)
Provide medication administration/supervision
Offer crisis support and supportive counseling
Support treatment plan goals and promote independence
Maintain cleanliness and safety of residence (light maintenance, snow removal, safety checks)
Transport residents to appointments or ER as needed
Accurately complete documentation and reports
Collaborate with staff, families, and external providers
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
2-3 years of experience in mental health or related field
MHRT-I certification (or willingness to complete within 12 months)
PSS experience a plus
Valid Maine driver's license in good standing
Strong communication, crisis response, and documentation skills
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, assist with physical support when needed

Delivers high quality, one-on-one certified personal training and small group classes. Communicates proactively with members regarding session times and availability, including cancelations as needed.
Prepares adequately for class by setting up equipment in advance and ensures equipment is clean, sanitized, and functioning properly.
Promotes Y programs and services to existing and potential members and recruits new participants.
Conducts initial client consultations, proactively builds effective, authentic relationships with participants and community partners, and connects them to the YMCA. Exhibits respect at all times in personal training and group fitness space.
Enforces program and facility policies to ensure all members and participants comply with facility rules.
As a Mandated Reporter, recognizes signs of abuse or neglect and reports to supervisor and the appropriate authorities.
Provides administrative support as needed, assisting with package redemptions, scheduling, package renewals, and attendance tracking group exercise classes.

The campus facility is open early mornings, evenings, and weekends and the job may require attendance outside of regular business hours (9am - 5pm).
The noise level can be all volumes.
Essential Experience and Skill Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
Team player, with superb interpersonal skills. An ability to work with co-workers and the public in a positive and friendly manner and resolve conflicts as needed.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
General computer skills with the ability to effectively learn and use new software.
Essential Education Requirements:
High School degree or GED or working towards completion of high school.

Will work as a member of a team of professionals who provide treatment and services to people who use mental health and co-occurring substance abuse services in the community.
Will contribute to the Agency's mission to assist individuals with recovery from psychiatric difficulties through the provision of a wide range of non-clinical activities that engage, educate and support individual, their families and caregivers.
Will provide recovery training and outreach to peers in both group and individual settings while demonstrating the values of hopefulness for recovery, respect, acceptance, personal responsibility, honesty and self-advocacy to both peers and colleagues.
Identifies as a person with lived/living experience with mental health and/or substance use, that was life interrupting. Has a personal history of recovery, a wellness or change story that guides their peer relationships and peer work.
