Job Description
PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based social services organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic, cost effective and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities.
JOB SUMMARY:
Therapists will conduct assessments and provide therapeutic services to youth and families participating in agency programs as well as referrals from a variety of sources (i.e. physicians, courts, schools, social service agencies, etc.). These services will be delivered in individual, family and group situations.
We hire fully licensed therapists, as well as those working to gather the hours necessary for full licensure. We provide the supervision necessary for licensure and give our licensed therapists additional group supervision time for collaboration and support. Our part-time therapists are paid hourly for all hours worked, including for supervision and other company meetings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF OUR IN-HOME THERAPIST:
Interview and evaluate children and families to complete the intake process.
Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments.
Formulate, implement, evaluate and review client treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy in accordance with treatment plans.
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, or group counseling.
Provide thorough and accurate updates on clients and make appropriate recommendations in regular and special staffings.
Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved with the clients.
LOCATION: This position will travel to meet with clients/families throughout the tri-county area (Jefferson, Rock, Walworth) with flexibility to work remote when in-person visits are not scheduled.
SCHEDULE: Part-time hours with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours. The schedule for all In-Home Mental Health Therapist positions is flexible with typical hours being Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with some evening hours to accommodate client/family schedules as needed.

SALARY: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour for therapist without license or in-training license
$30.00 to $35.00 per hour for fully licensed therapist, depending on experience and licensure.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be eligible for Wisconsin license or hold full state license (LPC, LPC-IT, APSW, LCSW).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SCHOOL-BASED THERAPIST:
Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments.
Create and review client treatment plans and provide psychotherapy in accordance with the treatment plans.
Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, or group counseling.
Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities.

LOCATION AND HOURS: Position is based at assigned school locations within Elkhorn, Lake Ganeva and western Kenosha schools.
Hours vary dependent on the school hours but typically will be Monday-Friday between 7:30-5:00pm. Part-time status at beginning of employment with the opportunity to move into full-time; 40 hours per week. Position operates during 9-month school year, with the opportunity to continue working part-time through summer months.

About the Role:
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for day-to-day operations of a team of CCS Care Coordinators and clinical oversight of the CCS program and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Screen new referrals and complete intakes, including initial assessments, recovery plans, and PPS/NOMS documentation.
• Supervise and support care coordinators or intake coordinators; ensure timely and accurate data entry into Avatar.
• Oversee CCS discharges in coordination with Milwaukee County, ensuring compliance with DHS 36.
• Provide clinical supervision and management to CCS staff through team meetings, individual supervision, and side-by-side support.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff to ensure adequate program staffing; support orientation and ongoing professional development.
• Complete annual evaluations and identify staff training needs; coordinate with management to implement training.
• Provider support during crisis situations and offer staff coverage as needed.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of staff timesheets and required documentation.
• Maintain quality assurance processes to ensure clinical best practices and billing compliance.
• Monitor documentation, including RPOCs, SARJs, and PPS/NOMS; report delays to Program Manager.
• Conduct monthly chart audits with the Program Manager and assist staff in correcting mid-cycle, 6-month, and annual reviews before submission to CARS.
• Accurately document persons served and team contacts in accordance with agency standards.
• Participate in program planning, policy compliance, and accountability measures in collaboration with the Program Manager.
• Advise management on program operations and represent the agency at County initiatives, provider meetings, and community events. Attend CCS meetings at Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services and other required provider events.
• Serve as a leader in promoting evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care across the program.
Job Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field: Psychology, Educational Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.
• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Supervisory experience preferred. Familiarity with Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services preferred.
• Meet all WCS and contractor requirements for criminal and caregiver background checks, driver's record, and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license, automobile, and sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to communicate clinical concepts clearly.
• Skilled in assessment, interviewing, supervision, and crisis response. Strong understanding of

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: CLINICIAN Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility - WCS Jefferson County Responsible for providing individual therapy and supervising milieu group therapy to the youth residing at Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility utilizing the Integrated Treatment Model including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Provide service coordination in collaboration with the Youth Treatment Specialist team.
The Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility is licensed under the Department of Health Services Chapters 50 and 34 to provide a short-term stabilization service for up to 8 youth (ages 10-17).
Essential Functions:
1. Interview, assess, screen, and approve admissions of youth for services at YCSF.
2. Assist with admissions process on site, assisting families with paperwork completion and orientation of youth to the program.
3. Supervise the youth coordinator, providing weekly individual supervision, review and sign off on youth care plans and service recommendations/resources.
4. Facilitate treatment and value-added groups for the youth including but not limited to DBT skills, sex education, healthy relationships, cultural awareness, substance use, independent living and life skills for 8 youth across the gender spectrum, ages 10-17 years old.
5. Provide daily (more frequently as needed) 1:1 individual therapy session following treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches in the spirit of DBT.
6. Complete assessments to develop youth care plans including stabilization and safety plans.

The Clinician for La Jornada works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and youth for the assigned program. This position works closely with children, youth, foster parents, and community partners, providing assessments, counseling, advocacy, mental health stabilization and support toward the goal of unification with a sponsor family and living safely and successfully in the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinician here for La Jornada will perform duties including, but not limited to:
* Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's mission, values, and philosophies.
* Collaborate with the cross-functional service team to provide trauma-informed mental health related services including conducting required assessments, referrals to mental health providers and assessments to identify human trafficking concerns.
* Provide child-facing services on-site.
* Maintain an active clinical caseload pursuant to the assigned program ratio and consistently achieve established service delivery thresholds.
* Conduct mental health assessments; and provide ongoing individual and group counseling services, as well as provide crisis intervention if needed.
* Facilitate family sessions as needed.
* Perform visits at foster caregiver's homes within pre-established days from the child's admission as needed.
* Continually monitor the mental well-being of clients and arrange for appropriate services as needed, including arranging for and facilitating external specialized services with community mental health providers.
* Complete Risk, UC Assessments, Human Trafficking, RST assessment, safety plans, post 18 ages out plans, and other assessments as required by the assigned program within expected timeframes.
* Provide consultation and documentation regarding clients' functioning, mental health status, and treatment needs.
* Participate in staffing with the cross-functional team and stakeholders.
* Provide orientation to children in care.
* When necessary, travel to provide community-based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
* Complete all required documentation and training in a timely manner.
* Consistently achieve established productivity thresholds.
* Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community, including but not limited to, medical, educational, psychological, and social services.
* Screen for human trafficking concerns and provide crisis intervention services.
* Perform other duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or other behavioral discipline in which clinical experience is a program requirement.
* Must be licensed or eligible for licensure. (Non-licensed staff must be actively working towards licensure while employed and attain licensure within 3 years of employment date).
* Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve the children and families.
* Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
* A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours with a possibility of being on call on nights/weekends, in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and people served.
* Must be able to organize, navigate, and physically escort youth to various travel destinations possibly including airlines, trains, and buses. Travel may include out-of-state trips up to 25%-30% to unify youth with families.
* Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/300,000 bodily liability coverage.
* 21 years of age, a valid state driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and a good driving record.

* Follow ORR, CDC, and State Covid 19 related protocols.
* Capacity to be flexible and responsive to youth served, foster caregivers, system partners, and internal/external stakeholders.
