The DREAM Program works to reduce the opportunity gap by providing 4 primary programs through the year - Afterschool Enrichment, Village Mentoring, Adventure, and Summer Enrichment. We seek to serve in partnership with neighborhoods, caregivers, and youth in all of the programs we provide. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
Member Duties : Members will support afterschool programming by helping activities run smoothly, assisting with logistics, attendance, and facilitation, and maintaining a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for youth. They will build relationships with families, caregivers, and community members, connecting them with DREAM resources and events to strengthen family-centered enrichment. Members will mentor youth during program hours, modeling DREAM's values of respect, creativity, and equity while fostering leadership, feedback, and youth voice in planning. They will also act as connectors between site staff, Youth Service Managers, and DREAM leadership, sharing updates and site needs. Participation in team meetings, trainings, and professional development is expected, as well as documenting service activities. Through this service, members will enhance program consistency, increase family engagement, support youth belonging, and strengthen communication across DREAM.

The technical supportspecialist will provide tier 1,2, and 3 technical support to end users by researching, diagnosing, and resolving issues, as well as fulfilling end user requests. Opening and closing support tickets, answering calls, and participating in project teams are also a requirement for the position.
Essential Functions
The Technical SupportSpecialist will be responsible for answering calls and processing email from end users that have IT related request and incidents requiring technical support. The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of PCs, operating systems, and off the shelf software like MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. The Technical SupportSpecialist will also be required to create tickets in the City's ticketing system and escalate issues as appropriate.

Essential Functions
· Handles tickets assigned by team members or grabbed from the team queue.
· Excellent customer service in working with clients and end-users on tickets, incidents, problems, requirements gathering, and reviews.
· Active participation in all team meetings, including but not limited to stand-ups, knowledge transfers, ticket crushes, bridges and go-lives, incidents and outages, and planning sessions.
· Fosters and maintains relationships with systems and technician staff across the City's IT community.
· Champions team initiatives, SOPs, and best practices with City staff.
· Provides on-call support on rotation with team for major incidents and outages.
· Joins project teams primarily in a supporting role, with opportunities for growth and technical leadership.

50% Interview newly sentenced or paroled individuals to explain probation and/or parole requirements and processes, ascertaining personal data about the client and securing clients' agreement to rules and regulations. Assign clients to specific probation officers based on geographic assignment and/or rotation for city caseload, setting up appointment for client with probation officer and forwarding information to probation officer.
15% Determine if special conditions are ordered by the Court and facilitates initial referral to appropriate agency.
25% Enter sentence computations, special condition information, and probation maximum expiration dates into APPS' computer program

The qualified Independent Living Specialist Hourly will:
Interact with IL youth on a one-on-one basis providing individual instruction as deemed necessary per his/her IL plan and living situation to transition to self-sufficiency through exploration of education, career, vocational, employment, daily living skills, fiscal and budgeting, substance abuse and prevention activities.
Assist youth in acquiring items earned through the stipend program.
Transport youth in personal vehicle to youth homes, placement locations, foster homes, IL class sites, etc.
The qualified Independent Living Specialist Hourly will have:
Bachelor's Degree in social work; criminal justice; psychology; counseling; education; sociology; political science, and a minimum of one (1) year direct care experience or supervised practice in lieu of the experience requirement.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
Pass current, applicable clearances.
Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

The Community SupportSpecialist I provide services to individuals with intellectual disabilities who are living in a HUD congregate living apartment building. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this individual is responsible for involving Individuals served in a person-centered approach to planning and participating in habilitation and enrichment services. This position will work alongside the program supervisor and other team members to ensure that the persons served have a safe, secure, and supportive living environment.
Wage range begins at $15.50 per hour
$1,000 Sign-on bonus
11 am to 7 pm or 10 am to 6 pm. Every other weekend off and alternating Friday and Monday
Qualifications
Associate degree in a health-related field and one (1) year related MH/PD/ID, Residential or Human Services experience
OR a High School Diploma or GED and three years of MH/PD/ID, Residential or Human Services experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to use core rehabilitation skills and to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
The ability to perform basic computer data entry required
