Job Description:
Provides patient care services along with direct treatment and follow-up.
Evaluates and treats patients with a physician's order due to a speech, language, swallow, or cognitive disorder, and develops a plan of care appropriate to the patient's diagnosis.
Documents patient care data accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely matter, reflecting evidence of improvement/progress/decline in patient's condition.
Communicates as necessary with intercompany and intracompany contacts, and establishes/maintains open lines of communication among branch administrative and management staff, and other clinical staff.
Attends patient care conferences, meetings, and mandatory in-services as scheduled, and provide weekly statistical data.
Provides in-service education, health care professional education, and public education in addition to supervising peers and supporting personnel and students in training as needed by the company.
Conducts research and assists with orientation of new employees as needed.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in speechlanguage pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association, as well as current licensure from the state in which employed by the company.
Strong knowledge of theory and concepts relating to the practice of speechlanguage pathology and the ability to evaluate and treat patients for whom a physician's order exists.
Strong communication (oral and written) and organizational skills and be CPR certified.
Minimum of twelve hours of continuing education annually.
Accept travel and working conditions as assigned.
1 Year Therapist Experience any setting.

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a PRN SpeechLanguagePathologist to work at Monarch School for students ages 5 through 21 with autism. The SpeechLanguagePathologist will work within an interdisciplinary team that provides communication, academic, sensory, behavioral, and therapeutic support for children or adolescents with autism. Through our collaboration with Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, we offer many opportunities for professional growth. Our small caseload sizes (varies based on need and hours worked per week), interdisciplinary team approach, and access to the latest technology provide a unique work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Provide direct speech therapy to students in one-on-one and small group settings.
Provide consultation and push-in therapy for generalization of skills.
Administer diagnostic assessments (formal and informal evaluations) and create a detailed report of the findings.
Develop and run differentiated social pragmatic groups pertinent to the needs of the students.
Write, implement and manage IEP/SP goals and objectives. Collect and analyze student data.
Develop Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and train staff and families.
Develop, review and/or implement progress reports, daily communication, and other clinical records and documentation
Train and participate in our evident based crisis prevention and de-escalation model, Safety Care.

The Monarch Center for Autism offers a comprehensive array of residential, early childhood, educational, transition, pre-vocational, adult, and community programs for individuals ages 5 through adulthood with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our degreed, certified and experienced staff deliver a range of therapeutic services intended to maximize each individual's unique strengths and abilities. Monarch's visual language immersion teaching Model, which combines visual supports, technology and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), leverages the strong visual processing abilities of individuals with autism. POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a full-time SpeechLanguagePathologist to work at Monarch School for students ages 5 through 21 with autism. The SpeechLanguagePathologist will work within an interdisciplinary team that provides communication, academic, sensory, behavioral, and therapeutic support for children or adolescents with autism. Through our collaboration with Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, we offer many opportunities for professional growth. Our small caseload sizes (approximately 12 students), interdisciplinary team approach, and access to the latest technology provide a unique work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Provide direct speech therapy to students in one-on-one and small group settings
Provide consultation and push-in therapy for generalization of skills.
Administer diagnostic assessments (formal and informal evaluations including the analysis of language samples) to autistic children and provide a detailed report of the findings.
Develop and run differentiated social pragmatic groups pertinent to the strengths and weaknesses of the group.
Manage all communication aspects of social skills training.
Write, implement and manage IEP goals and objectives.
Participate in proactive and reactive Behavior Management techniques.
