Senior Engineer / Tech Lead - Salesforce

As a Senior Engineer / Tech Lead supporting our Salesforce Ecosystem, you will serve as a critical design authority within the Enterprise Applications team. This role is not only responsible for leading the technical architecture and solution design for a dedicated Salesforce delivery team (focused on either Sales Cloud or Service Cloud), but also acts as a trusted partner to the business-translating strategic goals into scalable, high-performing technology solutions.
You will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure that Salesforce capabilities are aligned with enterprise objectives. Your leadership will guide the team through complex design decisions, balancing innovation with stability, and ensuring that our Salesforce implementations are robust, secure, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions for Sales or Service teams, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Own the full development lifecycle: from design and prototyping to implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation standards.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Collaborate across teams to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, data platforms), ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.
Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, including performance bottlenecks, security concerns, and platform limitations.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, evaluating new features and recommending adoption strategies where appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce development and architecture.
Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations for Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, Technical Architect) are a plus.

Base Salary Range

Maintain, repair, and install a wide variety of electrical fixtures, appliances, and equipment
Maintain, repair, and install electrical distribution equipment up to 12,000 volts, including: Panels, transformers, circuit breakers, underground distribution systems, soldering and splicing work
Locate and diagnose trouble in: Fire alarms, lighting systems, buzzers, thermostats, heating equipment, shop equipment, laundry and medical ward equipment
Maintain, repair, and service: Diesel and gasoline generators and related equipment
Transfer switches, timers, voltage relays, and circuiting
Use and maintain a wide variety of tools and test equipment, including cable pullers, hydraulic benders, pipe threading machines, meggers, multi-meters, frequency meters, watt meters, power factor meters, vibro-grounds, phase rotation meters, audio tone location equipment, high potential testers, ground fault interrupter testers, circuit analyzers, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of journeyman-level experience working on industrial HVAC systems.

About the Role:
As a Service Technician, you install, maintain, repair, and sometimes move our smart fridges. Smart fridges have two components and you need to be proficient in both: mechanical and technological. * Regularly monitor and adjust building automation controls to achieve optimum comfort and energy savings.
* Schedule and monitor building automation to include HVAC and lighting systems.
* Understand base level standard OSHA practices. Examples include, lock-out/tag-out, MSDS, confined entry, bloodborne pathogens, etc.

Overview
Under general supervision by Operations leadership, the HVAC Technician I performs advanced journey level and leadwork duties in the technical operation, maintenance and repair of various HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing and auxiliary systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose a variety of MEP systems in a widely dispersed building.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00-$28.00

Responsibilities
Regularly monitor and adjust building automation controls to achieve optimum comfort and energy savings.
Schedule and monitor building automation to include HVAC and lighting systems.
Understand base level standard OSHA practices. Examples include, lock-out/tag-out, MSDS, confined entry, bloodborne pathogens, etc.
Understand how to reset different pieces of equipment. This includes, chillers, VFDs, air handlers, boilers
Know how to change air filters, and belts
Demonstrate knowledge of how to grease pumps
Demonstrate knowledge of checking cooling tower hot decks and removing dirt and debris
Be able to clean strainers on different type of equipment. Examples, condenser, hot and chill water systems
Operates and monitors equipment, which admits steam into each building from central distribution point, pressure reducing stations
Inspects, dismantles, repairs, and reassembles equipment as directed. Completes tests for chemical control of boiler water, cooling water, and condensate.
Troubleshoots, repairs and replaces general and laboratory exhaust fan systems
Repairs or adjusts valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
Clean-up and organize mechanical rooms, mezzanine, physical plants, and work shops
Provide access for contractors from time to time
Demonstrating the ability to be trained on forklift and aerial lifts
Makes regular patrols through mechanical rooms to record condition and operation of equipment to ensure its being scheduled into preventative program before failure
Participate in the operation, maintenance and repair of facility equipment, minor electrical, lighting, commercial kitchen and plumbing repairs to expedite the return of equipment or auxiliary systems to operational status
Be able to operate boom lifts, scissors lifts, and forklift. Or obtain certification within the first 6 months from our in-house train the trainer
Complete minor plumbing task for event related activity.
Track daily productivity via timesheets, daily logs and CMMS.
Communicate arrival, location and departure with HVAC/Plumbing Manager.
Perform event related duties, set-ups and coverage as assigned
Clearly, effectively, and timely communicate work issues with staff
Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients
Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in HVAC/R and control programs.
Possession of a CT D-2 license or substitution of technical trade school and experience.
Experience with computerized building automation systems.
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software, general computers and understanding of basic IT functions.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have availability to 5a - 2p shift as your primary schedule nights, weekends and holidays as needed for events. Must be flexibility to adjust from time to time depending on emergencies and building needs.
