**How you make a difference**
The Site Medical Director provides clinical leadership at the assigned facility and ensures compliance with medical standards and regulations. They deliver direct care, supervise healthcare staff, and coordinate with internal and external healthcare providers. Responsibilities include documentation, emergency response, treatment planning, and formulary compliance. The Medical Director supports continuous quality improvement efforts and participates in policy and protocol development. They also play a key role in chronic care clinic oversight, pharmacy monitoring, and medical program review.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide direct medical care and document all clinical encounters in compliance with standards
+ Supervise and support healthcare staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
+ Oversee chronic care clinics, utilization review, and quality improvement initiatives

The Mental Health Professionalprovidesclinical services to individuals under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor or MentalHealthDirector. Education
+ A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
+ An advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience
+ Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience and corrections experience is preferred.
+ Must have the patience and tact to deal with the inmate patient population and ability to work effectively in the corrections environment.
+ Scheduling flexibility is also required to be able to rotate hours and shifts, if needed, and to be called during emergency situations to provide coverage.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
