We are seeking an experienced Retail Engineer to join our team and help us drive process improvement and efficiency across our retail stores. The Retail Engineer - Store Operations' primary responsibilities are to update and maintain our engineered labor standards platform. In addition, identify and analyze key metric data alongside current store operational processes to support workload simplification and new initiatives. This job requires problem solving skills and strong analytical capabilities, along with data management and great communication skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities -
Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance
Compile and upkeep relevant datasets and information crucial to store operations such as Time Studies, Labor Standards, etc.
Become an expert in our labor standards platform (LaborPro) and ensure accurate inputs, maintenance, and application of the system.
Skilled in work measurement, standard data, and predetermined time systems and tools (MOST) with a focus on time study expertise.
Investigate store data and processes to identify trends, opportunities, and pain points and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with field and store management to validate and react to trends and outliers by offering feedback and problem-solving solutions to ensure resolution.
Assist the Manager of Reporting & Analytics in monitoring store processes, building relationships with business partners, and creating tools and presentations.
Evaluate various labor scenarios and assess the impact of any changes.
Continuously improve processes from the backroom through checkout.
Display proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information and proposing solutions within budget constraints.
Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with various organizational levels and functions.
Identify areas of inefficiency and waste in process elements.
Create tools for analysis and modeling using MS Excel and PowerBI.
Possess knowledge of statistics and probability, TimerPro or UMT, and SQL.
Preferred experience working in a retail store environment with labor management systems.
Develop, maintain, and implement management observation and accountability programs.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer II, Finishing will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving a variety of finishing processes at SIG SAUER's firearm facilities. Emphasis will be placed on vibratory, media, robotic abrasive sanding, laser ablating of precision CNC machined components, and machining and assembly of precision firearm components utilizing clearly defined technical drawings and interchangeable parts. In addition, this position will require execution of manufacturing feasibility, quality planning, and corrective action for internal quality concerns.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing firearm product designs while providing budgetary estimates for equipment, tools, gages, and production rate.
Use project management techniques to procure tooling and equipment for new products to meet launch timelines and cost targets.
Identify areas for improvement and conduct formal cost savings analysis using established procedures.
Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements to quality and throughput.
Evaluate and improve product designs for manufacturability while applying GD&T and dimensional stack-ups.
Provide production floor support to maintain output and quality for technical systems and manufacturing processes including:
High volume CNC machining
Machine and Tool Design
Mass Finishing Systems
Automation
Laser Engraving
Originate and develop new systems and processes and implement into full production.
Debug and runoff new capital equipment to meet plant goals for quality, throughput, and cost.
Execute turnkey runoffs per SIG SAUER machine specification requirements.
Generate new machine specifications with the guidance of Engineering Lead or Supervisor.
Resolve and prevent quality issues related to assigned product, processes, and NPI components using statistical methods. Apply gage R&R, bias, dimensional stack-ups, control plan methodology, GD&T, and enroll in a certification program for Shainin Red X and/or Six Sigma.
Perform as technical leader for production personnel including setters, operators, and technicians.
Recommend and implement technological alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products, procedures, and the output and quality of manufacturing processes.
Maintain research, activity documentation, and prepare reports.
Provide consultation on problem solving teams and complete assigned tasks per agreed upon timelines.
Participate in 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and at least 3-6 years of previous experience.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME Y14.5M-2009.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as SOLIDWORKS.
Possess a basic working knowledge of monday.com and have experience in using data analysis programs.
Must be able to demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Good working knowledge of materials and metal finishing processes.
Ability to plan and execute multiple projects.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Quality of work must be very high.
Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
Organization of documentation and record keeping shall be to a high standard.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
