Job Description
The MassageTherapist is responsible for providing massages and body treatments to our guests and members with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism and exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts. The service provider is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the workspace assigned during their shift.
* Prepare treatment rooms to client specifications while also adhering to The Inn at Mattei's Tavern service standards.
* Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms and attend to any immediate needs throughout the Spa visit.
* Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required and needed and directed by spa leadership.
* Assist in providing information to any inquiries, helps to coordinate all guest requests for services.
* Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service to ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment.
* Maintain professional ethics while ensuring personalized service is provided to each guest so they feel their needs are met.
* Maintain the work area with necessary supplies. Ensure the room is immaculate at all times (tables draped, counters and products clean) as well as cleanliness of all other spa areas including locker rooms.
* Assist fellow associates with daily operations to support healthy teamwork and contribute to the success of the spa.
* Assist fellow associates with coverage of shifts when possible in order to promote teamwork.
* Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
* Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management immediately.
* Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
* Follow service protocols and procedures according to The Inn at Mattei's Tavern standards.
* Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
* Complete all safety training and certifications requested by management.
* Keep personal certifications up to date without Management prompting.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Valid CAMTC Certification and a minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy training with a certificate of completion
* Satisfies all State, Regional, and Local requirements to perform services in California
* Ability to commit to consistent weekly availability that aligns with the needs of the business
* Successful completion of pre-employment screening
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in a luxury environment
* Two years of experience performing body care services in a spa setting

Job Description

Job Summary:
As a MassageTherapist at Spa Relais, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatments to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and therapeutic experience. you will also help create a welcoming, professional environment aligned with the property's high standards of care and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, pre-natal, and specialty treatments as trained
Conduct initial consultations with guests to assess their needs and recommend appropriate treatments
Maintain a clear, organized, and tranquil treatment space
Adhere to sanitation and safety standards
Educate guests on spa amenities and wellness services
Build and maintain a loyal clientele through professionalism and exceptional experience
Requirements
Qualifications:
Valid Massage Therapy license in the state of California
Certification from an accredited Massage Therapy program
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred: Recent graduates with strong training are welcome to apply
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Available to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons

JOB OBJECTIVE: As a member of Post Ranch Inn, the MassageTherapist will work directly with the Spa Concierges in ensuring a world class guest experience through a unique, healing and relaxing treatment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Handle guests with care and professionalism
* Provide hands on treatments such as massage and other forms of bodywork
* Thoroughly be familiar with the hotel operations, accommodations and amenities
* Process all paperwork and follow-up with guests' needs, focusing on attention to detail
* To be proficient with our hotel property management system, in regard to reservation functions
* Maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guest information
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Fill-in for Spa Concierges as needed. Other duties as assigned by Manager.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have completed county or state requirements for completed massage hours
2. Must be flexible
3. Background in healing arts, intuitive healing, and alternative healing practices
4. Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions
5. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Pay rate for the MassageTherapist position is $16.90 per hour plus treatment rates
