Overview:
The Shared Finance Services (SFS) seasonal associate will be part of a collaborative team responsible for ensuring the functions of Financial Accounting are completed timely, consistently, and accurately. The SFS seasonal associate will report directly to the Accounting II, Supervisor, and/or Manager responsible for their primary role.

Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing accounting entries for assigned properties to ensure timely period closing schedules are maintained.
Assist in preparing general ledger account reconciliations as assigned by a Manager - Financial Accounting.
Partner with other shared service functions to ensure transactions posted are accurate and timely.
Follow internal control processes, policies, and procedures.
Comply with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAP.
Responsibilities may occasionally require an adjusted work schedule to meet certain deadlines. This may include mandatory overtime and/or evening/weekend hours except where prohibited by law.
Adhere to and enforce all Six Flags policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and will demonstrate commitment to Six Flags core values and cornerstones.

Qualifications:
Students currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business Administration.
Basic knowledge in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook (Microsoft Suite) and pdf (Adobe Acrobat).

Analyze and comprehend diagnostic test results and use to repair and program radios and wireless equipment.
Work with customer to determine deadlines, urgency, timeline, and schedule of completing repairs, maintenance, and programming with customers, vendors, and shop management to ensure resolution of problem meets customer's needs.
Provide technical information to assist in the preparation of quotes and bids.
Perform 2-way radio wireless communications system programming, per industry practices and vendor criteria.
Performs the installation of 2-way radio and wireless mobile and base communications systems per industry practices and vendor criteria.
Reports any accidents, maintenance needs, or repairs to management while using any company vehicle. Practices and follows safe driving procedures as described and required in safe driver training.
Must be available to work Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To properly support our public safety and first responder customers, technicians will be required to be on call, which includes overtime with little or no notice.
Must be able to travel, this may be local, daily travel or overnight travel.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Three to five years' experience in 2-way radio and wireless communication systems theory. Able to use computer and program, troubleshoot, perform diagnostics, and repair complex communication systems.
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or vocational school in electronics and wireless system repair is preferred but not required.
Experience in diagnostics, repair, maintenance, program wireless communication equipment such as 2-way radios, transmitters, receivers, antennas for customers.
Experienced with dispatch consoles, paging infrastructure, and trunked radio systems. Knowledge of radio repair, mobile installations, DC, AC, and RF Theory as it applies to wireless communications.
Licenses, Certifications: An industry license (FCC, FICA or NARTE). A valid driver license and insurability in the state of employment. CET or NABER certification.

- Design display and guidance systems in C++
