Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field. A minimum of ten (10) years of hands on experience in software development. Extensive experience with C#, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio or equivalent IDEs. Strong experience with ASP.NET Blazor is a plus. Proficient in building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API or similar frameworks. Familiar with Entity Framework or other ORM technologies. Expertise in SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning. Proficient in using source control systems and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost. Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal. Communicate with and manage project stakeholders. Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset. Evaluate documents and communicate the client's specific goals and expectations to all project team members. Develop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan. Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary. Coordinate with cost management group as applicable for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation. Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and physical documents. Drive the permitting process by designing team documents to be submitted to various local, state, and federal agencies and ensure the applicable permits are moving through the process efficiently. Ensure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and client's design standards. Prepare cost and revenue projections. Our education team is a prime consultant to one the largest school districts in the country and provides services to K-12 as well as higher education institutions nationally. You will be teaming with project, program, and client leadership to provide premier educational facilities for our nation's youth and adults seeking to better themselves through learning. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a variety of increasingly complex and technical duties related to the District's facilities planning and construction program; provide project coordination and management support to department activities and projects. Act as Owner's Representative with primary responsibility for all phases of various construction projects. Assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Owner. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including the budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, Client Standards, sustainability design, QA/QC program requirements, as well as individual roles and responsibilities. Assist in the documentation submission of statutory project documentation and approvals related to the project work. Review, understand, and manage procedures for handling changes to the contract documents, monthly valuations, drawing submissions, change orders, substitutions, etc. Document the status of the project, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents. Review, analyze and make recommendations for professional services contracts. Assist in performing fiscal analysis related to facilities planning and construction accounting, budgeting, invoicing and payment requests. Provide information to Facilities management regarding assigned functions; provide advisement of unusual trends or problems and recommend appropriate corrective action. QUALIFICATIONS BA or BS degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field. 7+ years' of experience in management of construction projects; experience within a large capital improvement program and familiarity with relevant Public Codes. Experience supporting community college or K-12 educational facility projects highly preferred.
