When will I work?
* Flexible Schedule: The primary work hours for this position are 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime required as needed. Ideal candidates would be able to work 20-40+ hours per week on a consistent schedule.

What will the work look like for me?
* Operate automated equipment and/or perform the modular and technical construction of scoreboards and/or displays, interpret work instructions/technical drawings, safely operate hand tools, and participate in a team.
* Learn Daktronics products, systems, and processes, and produce product in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
* Be flexible to work in other departments as needed.
* Learn and practice Lean Manufacturing methodology.
* Follow company policies and procedures.
* Complete other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
To be considered for Temporary Assembler, we require the following:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Required to work overtime when overtime shifts are scheduled.
* Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to learn quickly and successfully participate as a member of a team.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision.
* Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, and electrostatic discharge wear. You will be provided the PPE for the required areas.
* Physical requirements include the ability to:
* Work in an environment with these types of smells: paint, solvent, and solder.

* Stand for the full shift with planned breaks. The duration of standing between breaks varies from 2-3 ½ hours depending on work area.

Performs deburring as requested.
Ability to use and read a voltmeter.

Visual inspection and part checks against blueprints to ensure they are properly assembled.
Read and understand blueprints/schematics to ensure products are properly assembled to customer specification.
Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.

Complete required documentation for batch records, safety logs, and inventory tracking.
Identify and correct non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.
Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum or 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 1 to 3 years of prior related manufacturing work experience.
