The Night Shift Utility Worker is responsible for loading and unloading of raw material/finished product as well as cleanliness of plant and equipment. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
* Unloading raw materials
* Forklift driving
* Uses high pressure hose to wash parking lot, plant equipment, and surrounding areas of plant including spilled material on lot.
* Paints and washes plant equipment and building fixtures as necessary.
* Required to use standard hand tools (hammer, screw driver, wrenches, etc.) and power tools (drills, impact drivers, saws, etc.)
* Operates company vehicles around plant and property.
* Ensures steady flow of raw material from trailers to dock in safe and efficient manner.
* Checks and reports condition of raw material load and truck interior.
* Performs a variety of general labor tasks including janitorial cleaning and vehicle washing.
* Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
* All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age.
* Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Able to follow oral and written directions.
* Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
* A CDL "B" license with tanker endorsement is a plus.
Physical Demands
* Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
* Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Job Purpose: The Laborer I supports operations by preparing and cleaning worksite, performing steps in the work process and providing some detailed maintenance.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares/operates equipment and cleans machines to include assembly and disassembly for cleaning.
Installs parts for assembly of manufactured products.
Cleans shop, machines, reads drawings, measures, completes required paperwork, and marks out parts.
Operates overhead cranes and forklifts when necessary
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Secures tools, materials and equipment at end of day
Regular attendance and timeliness.

About the Role
We are seeking a Production Laborer to join our Saxonburg, PA facility. In this role, you will operate various production equipment such as grinders, chippers, and atomizers to safely process magnesium materials according to customer specifications. This position plays a vital part in producing high-quality materials used in MREs, chemical response kits, countermeasure flares, and other mission-critical products.
You will work collaboratively as part of a production team under the guidance of a Team Leader and may be required to flex across related tasks as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate production equipment such as grinders, chippers, and atomizers to process magnesium materials according to customer specifications. (training given)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Monitor and control production processes, perform required measurements and tests, and adjust equipment settings to ensure right-first-time quality products.
Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain continuous production flow and meet short-term manufacturing goals.
Apply a basic understanding of chemistry and mechanical operations to effectively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production processes.
Perform basic troubleshooting, notify maintenance or team leaders when issues arise, and assist with equipment repairs as needed.
Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) programs and support project installations when required.
Accurately document production activities, including log sheets, raw material usage, and material calculations, ensuring complete and accurate records.
Understand customer and product requirements and make necessary process adjustments to ensure full compliance.
Comply with all environmental and ITAR regulations and maintain awareness of company quality and safety standards.
Strive for continuous improvement by enhancing process knowledge and technical skills across the full plant operation.

Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materialsâ¯

The Hydrovac Laborer (Flagger) will work as part of a crew responsible for going into residential and commercial areas working on underground utilities and working with their crew to complete tasks for the day.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Direct movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand and flag signals.
Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
Inform drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
Complete assigned traffic control tasks, which include but are not limited to operating a support vehicle to designated locations.
Pre-trip equipment to ensure proper functionality.
