Job DescriptionDescription: The Enterprise Data Analyst is a hands-on data professional responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics that support both practice-level operations and corporate shared services. This role transforms data into actionable insights to support decision-making across Orthopedic Care Partners (OCP). This role is ideal for an individual with a strong foundation in analytics who is ready to expand their impact in a growing, data-driven organization. Key Responsibilities: Data Visualization and Reporting Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other approved business intelligence tools. Validate the accuracy and consistency of data outputs through quality assurance checks and testing protocols. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to finance, operations, clinical, marketing) to understand reporting needs and business goals. Facilitate conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of data definitions and report outputs. Act as a liaison between the business and technical resources, helping to translate business questions into actionable analytics solutions. Support change management efforts related to new reports, dashboards, or metrics. Data Governance & Documentation Support enterprise data governance efforts by helping to define and standardize key metrics and performance indicators. Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all dashboards, data sources, and business logic used in reporting. Participate in efforts to improve data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems. Assist in auditing and resolving data quality issues in collaboration with data engineering or source system teams. Analytics Request Management Assist with the intake, triage, and tracking of analytics and reporting requests, ensuring clarity and prioritization. Manage the delivery of recurring and ad hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain transparency with stakeholders by communicating timelines, dependencies, and progress updates. Professional Development & Learning Engage in ongoing learning and skill development related to analytics tools, data platforms, and domain knowledge. Actively participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions, lunch-and-learns, or community of practice meetings. Take initiative to explore new features in Power BI, SQL enhancements, or relevant data technologies. Support junior team members when appropriate and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture. Requirements: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data reporting. Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes. Strong working knowledge of Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools, including dashboard development and data modeling. Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Experience analyzing healthcare data, including EHR, claims, and financial datasets. Our agencies are looking for bright, highly motivated college students and recent graduates to participate in a unique opportunity to gain experience firsthand in the operations of state government while obtaining valuable on-the-job training. As a data science intern, responsibilities may include the following: * Leverage tools to interpret data sets; paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver data-driven solutions. * Assist with the maintenance, ongoing support, and reporting for automation across the agency. * Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing structured and unstructured datasets from various sources. * Support exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. * Contribute to the improvement of data quality, data governance, and metadata standards. * Conduct research on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of data analytics methodologies and tools. * Ability to work independently as well as with others. * Knowledge of data modeling, data mining and data cleansing techniques; and data analysis. * Knowledge of automation and application of automation tools. * Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively. * Knowledge of statistics & statistical modeling. * Ability to collect, evaluate, and prioritize automation opportunities. * Proven ability to work ethically and with integrity. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be currently enrolled or graduated within the last twelve months from an accredited college or university degree program. * Working knowledge of database systems and querying languages (e.g., SQL) to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
