Skills and attributes for success:
* Advanced processing of Electronic Stored Information (ESI) into multiple systems including hands-on file manipulations and conversions.
* Designing and implementing action plans to upgrade new litigation support tools within established environments by participating in Change Control Board Meetings.
* Leading user acceptance testing efforts and validating the rollout of new software upgrades; and integrating legal systems to improve efficiencies by creating scripts and advanced queries and introducing automated workflow concepts.
* Assists in administering database organizations, standards, controls, and procedures.
* Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment.
* Maintains documentation and develops database dictionaries.
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with five years of professional experience, including four years performing tasks related to ESI Processing or upgrading and integrating technical systems.
* Knowledge of file manipulation applications, scripting, and the eDiscovery industry.
* Certification in an eDiscovery program or related software package (i.e., Concordance, Relativity, Clearwell).
* Must be willing to achieve Relativity Certified Administrator credential within 6 months of hire.
* Must have experience working within a network environment supporting an eDiscovery platform.
* Must have experience in Performing eDiscovery application system maintenance, upgrades, and day-to-day administration.
* Must have three years of experience designing, administering, maintaining, and updating databases.
* Must be familiar with government network operating environment standards and security requirements.
Ideally, you will also have:
* 10+ years of experience supporting eDiscovery teams with SQL DBA requirements.
* Technical certifications or other pertinent graduate degrees preferred.
* Technology-assisted review experience is a plus.

The Database Administrator is the primary administrator of Salesforce NPSP and integrated third-party systems. This role ensures data integrity, security, and optimization of Salesforce to support fundraising, ticketing, marketing, finance, and organizational reporting needs. The Database Administrator provides system upkeep, troubleshooting, training, and reporting support across departments to help the organization achieve its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management & System Administration
Maintain Salesforce database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
Oversee system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
Troubleshoot issues and serve as the primary contact for Salesforce-related problems.
Manage integrations with third-party applications (e.g. bookkeeping, ticketing, email marketing, analytics tools, access control).
Implement and document standard operating procedures and data management best practices.
Conduct regular backups and perform routine system maintenance.
Operations & Data Support
Input, track, and maintain payments, contacts, opportunities, campaigns, and related data.
Monitor data health; perform audits, deduplication, and data cleanup.
Support gift entry, acknowledgement, reconciliation, and development reporting functions.
Coordinate with Finance to track impact data, chargebacks, and reconciliations.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on segmentation, campaigns, dynamic pricing, and inventory management.
Reporting & Analytics
Create, maintain, and automate reports, dashboards, and lists to meet departmental and organizational needs.
Partner with leadership to track KPIs, monitor trends, and forecast performance.
Provide data analysis to support fundraising campaigns, ticket sales tracking, marketing initiatives, and strategic planning.
Training & User Support
Provide training and support for Salesforce users across departments.
Onboard new employees into Salesforce, including account setup, permissions, and roles.
Develop user documentation, onboarding materials, and learning resources.
Stay current on Salesforce developments, attending webinars, trainings, and user groups.
Serve as liaison with Salesforce consultants to define requirements and customize the platform.
Support Projects & Collaboration
Support Technology Systems & Knowledge Manager on assigned projects.
Lead or participate in internal user groups to share knowledge, resolve issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience/certification.
3+ years of experience managing a Salesforce organization (NPSP preferred), ideally in non-profit, cultural, or performing arts environment.
Technical Skills
Strong skills in Salesforce administration, reporting, and dashboards.
Familiarity with SQL, data visualization, and analytics tools preferred.
Experience with system integrations and third-party applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Professional Skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Project planning at both the technical and executive levels
Rockstar (Preferred) Qualifications in addition to those required
