Job Description
The Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering bulk and non-bulk propane, propane utilization equipment, and/or miscellaneous materials to customers in an assigned territory. Customer service will be a large part of the duties along with care and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, completion of all necessary paperwork and maintaining all DOT requirements for the proper handling and distribution of propane.

Schedule: Standard schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Occasional weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime available. Extended hours typical during busy season of October to March.

Core Duties/Key Responsibilities
Delivery and Transportation:
Safely operate a propane delivery truck in compliance with DOT regulations.
Deliver propane to customers as scheduled, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
Handle, load, and unload propane tanks and cylinders, ensuring secure and safe transportation.
Installation and Maintenance:
Install propane tanks, gas lines, and related equipment at customer sites.
Conduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on propane systems and equipment.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of propane systems, including tanks, regulators, meters, and appliances.
Safety and Compliance:
Conduct leak tests, pressure checks, and safety inspections to ensure system integrity and functionality.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe handling of propane and prevent accidents.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers to explain the operation and maintenance of propane systems.
Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
Provide emergency services and on-call support as needed.

This position supports the Wheelworx segment of our business, specializing in the transportation of railcar wheelsets to customer locations and back. The driver will haul wheelsets on a flatbed trailer, ensuring each load is properly chained, strapped, and delivered safely and on time. This role is a critical link in Wheelworx's logistics operation, helping maintain efficient delivery flow and supporting our commitment to reliability and quality in the rail industry. This is a regional position that usual involves 2-3 overnight runs per week and requires a professional who takes pride in representing the company with a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and reliability.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport railcar wheelsets via flatbed trailer.
Properly chain, strap, and secure loads in compliance with DOT cargo securement standards.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Adhere to FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse or yard personnel.
Maintain accurate logbooks, bills of lading, and delivery records.
Conduct trip planning and routing to ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries.
Report maintenance issues, delays, or incidents promptly.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
1+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience is preferred.
Flatbed experience highly preferred; experience with dry van, refrigerated, or specialized equipment also considered.
Must maintain an acceptable driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving, or license suspension).
No preventable accidents in the past 2 years (standard company policy).

Pay: $23 per hour + overtime at time and a half after 40 hours. Typically get 50-60 hours per week grossing $1,265 - $1,610 per week.
Typical Schedule:
Mostly Monday - Friday work with the full weekend off. Occasionally there are runs that may return on Saturday morning or leave out on Sunday.
2-3 overnight runs per week. Rarely have runs that put you out more than 1 night at a time.

Our OTR loads are mostly no touch. Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt and Volvo tractors.

OTR lanes run to MN, WI, and beyond, then returning from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
These lanes require driver to be gone 10-11 days and one weekend including 34 hour reset. Home every other weekend in most cases. Longer road time is available to those drivers that would like to be gone longer
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Competitive hourly wages - $74K - $85K annually - based on 50-60 hours/week

Job Description
The Delivery Drivers will deliver, service and/or install bulk and non-bulk propane, propane utilization equipment, and/or miscellaneous materials to customers in an assigned territory and to assist as needed with general water system maintenance and repairs where water solutions are offered. Customer service will be a large part of the duties along with care and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, completion of all necessary paperwork and maintaining all DOT requirements for the proper handling and distribution of propane.
Schedule: Standard schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Occasional weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime available. Extended hours typical during busy season of October to March.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate all assigned vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local codes and regulations for the safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle.
Handle the delivery schedule with multiple stops per day as directed.
Resolve or escalate customer inquiries and/or complaints as needed.
Demonstrate responsibility regarding the care, condition, safe handling and securing of all company and customer equipment and property at all times.
