    PACU RN PT/PD NEEDED: The PACU RN at Mission Community Hospital is responsible for providing comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients who have undergone surgical procedures. This individual contributor role requires a high level of critical thinking skills, clinical expertise, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure quality patient care. This position is part-time and paid on an hourly basis. The job is located in Panorama City, California. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation package for this role includes a competitive hourly rate and potential for bonuses based on performance. Part-time/PD employees at Mission Community Hospital are also eligible for a limited benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off. Responsibilities: 1. Assess and monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit to ensure their safety and comfort. 2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and document patient responses. 3. Collaborate with anesthesia providers and members of the surgical team to develop and implement an individualized plan of care for each patient. 4. Monitor and maintain patients' vital signs, oxygenation, and pain levels. 5. Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions. 6. Manage patient flow in the PACU, ensuring efficient turnover of beds and timely discharge of patients. 7. Document all care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record. 8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. 9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety. 10. Serve as a resource and mentor to new nursing staff in the PACU. Requirements: 1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting with a focus on post-anesthesia care. 3. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. 4. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 6. Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical record systems. 7. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.     Job Description PACU RN PT/PD NEEDED: The PACU RN at Mission Community Hospital is responsible for providing comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients who have undergone surgical procedures. This individual contributor role requires a high level of critical thinking skills, clinical expertise, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure quality patient care. This position is part-time and paid on an hourly basis. The job is located in Panorama City, California. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation package for this role includes a competitive hourly rate and potential for bonuses based on performance. Part-time/PD employees at Mission Community Hospital are also eligible for a limited benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off. Responsibilities: 1. Assess and monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit to ensure their safety and comfort. 2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and document patient responses. 3. Collaborate with anesthesia providers and members of the surgical team to develop and implement an individualized plan of care for each patient. 4. Monitor and maintain patients' vital signs, oxygenation, and pain levels. 5. Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions. 6. Manage patient flow in the PACU, ensuring efficient turnover of beds and timely discharge of patients. 7. Document all care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record. 8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. 9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety. 10. Serve as a resource and mentor to new nursing staff in the PACU. Requirements: 1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting with a focus on post-anesthesia care. 3. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. 4. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 6. Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical record systems. 7. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
