Deco Products was established in 1960 in downtown Decorah. The name Deco comes from the first 4 letters of DECOrah. Deco Products is the largest stand-alone dedicated zinc die caster in North America.
Zinc castings are used in many diverse products and our customer base is equally diverse. A few of our primary markets are office furniture, window and door products and components for commercial vehicles and the RV market. A few specific examples are legs for office partitions, office chair brackets, brake valve components for semi-trucks, sash locks for windows and window operators for motorhomes. We also have products that go into the electrical industry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and an extensive line of broom and mop components.
The Secondary Assembly Associate will be responsible for assembly and perform secondary operations on parts that are purchased and die cast.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Fresh Stocker is responsible for maintaining all Fresh sub-departments - including Produce, Meat, and Cheese. This includes duties such as stocking, rotating, and maintaining displays, mark downs/dates, culling and sorting through product, cleaning displays and work areas, and trimming, prepping, wrapping and packaging product for sale. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service

Prepping and Culling
Mark down older items as needed for quick sale.
Always remove/freshen-up poor quality items.
Always rotate stock in the back prep area and walk-in as well as in the displays.
Handle product carefully, preventing bruising.
Follow proper storage procedures to prolong freshness.
Follow prepping guidelines as outlined by the Fresh Manager.
Price Changes
Consistently note and change prices, origins, classification, and PLUs on signs as instructed and relay information to cashiers and other staff.
Use good judgment in transitioning between old and new priced items.
Know how to problem solve and find correct prices if not given on case. •
Accurately communicate discrepancies to Fresh Manager or Fresh Assistant Manager. Department Maintenance
Proficient in opening and closing tasks for the Fresh Department.
Ensure that unsellable items are returned or otherwise properly disposed of, following established protocols.
Ensure that department areas (aisles, shelves, bins, and storage areas) are kept in clean and orderly condition.
Monitor cooler and freezer temperatures. Advise managers and assistant managers of equipment problems.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Fresh Manager, Fresh Assistant Manager, or General Manager.

The Rotomolding Associate is responsible for preparing resin materials, performing trimming and secondary finishing tasks, inspecting parts, applying foam insulation, and completing sub-assembly work for molded products. This position supports Operators and Supervisors to ensure high-quality, consistent parts are produced safely and efficiently. Training is provided.
Essential Job Duties
Prepare and weigh plastic resin for molding.
Trim and remove excess plastic/flash from molded parts using hand and power tools.
Inspect parts for leaks, cracks, defects, and quality issues, including water checking.
Place warm parts into cooling fixtures and apply foam insulation as required.
Perform sub-assembly tasks such as prepping drains, wheelbases, and basic plumbing.
Complete visual and functional inspections and report non-conforming parts to Operators.
Accurately log production activities, part counts, and product information in the system.

Summary
The Food Service Assistant is responsible for certain duties including, but not limited to, monitoring and recording proper temperature of food, setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving food items, restocking food areas, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, receiving payment for food and beverages using a computerized register and other related responsibilities.
Job Description
Complies with Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines for food service. Provides outstanding customer service and effectively communicates with patrons and co-workers. Demonstrates ability to establish effective working relationships.
Maintains quality control standards. May operate equipment such as, but not limited to, grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, computerized cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, telephones, refrigerators and freezers. Preferably, displays experience working in the food industry.
Possesses ability to work independently when necessary. Possesses an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes. Demonstrates ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances.
Qualifications
Minimum of 16 years of age. Previous customer service experience, retail counting and reconciliation of money and knowledge of food service preferred. Possesses ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Ability to perform basic math. On-the-job training will be provided.
Depending upon location of hire, Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame. Basic Life Support (BLS)may be required depending upon location requirements.
