Responsibilities also include evaluating and diagnosing psychological conditions, writing comprehensive psychological reports, and collaborating with other professionals-including social workers, nurses, direct care staff, and educators-to interpret and communicate assessment results. The psychologist will coordinate and manage psychological services across the facility, provide clinical supervision, participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and contribute to policy development and program evaluation. Public outreach and education, expert court testimony, and consultation with institutional leadership are also expected as part of the position. The position demands the ability to supervise and coordinate psychology doctoral interns and practicum students effectively, to plan and deliver comprehensive training programs, and to provide clinical guidance and leadership. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills are essential to meet the demands of this multifaceted role. Minimum Qualifications: A Doctorate Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology and a minimum of 2 years of experience, one year of which may have been an internship.
