KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead administration of Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune configuration profiles, Intune admin profiles, Intune policies and Group Policies.
· Manage Azure infrastructure including implementation of IaaS/PaaS, building virtual resources, storage accounts, and networking.
. Apply Microsoft and industry best practices to the implementation and operation of Azure IaaS and PaaS, both in cloud-optimized and lift-and-shift scenarios.
· Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
· Manage and optimize virtualization environments (VMware, Horizon, Hyper V, Azure) and cloud resources.
· Work with the security team to design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
· Ensure network security and performance, including SASE, firewall and VPN configurations.
· Monitor system health and performance; proactively detect and prevent or swiftly resolve complex issues.
· Mentor and develop team of systemadministrators and provide technical leadership.
· Collaborate with Enterprise Application and Cyber Security teams to mitigate risk and maintain compliance and security standards.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· 10+ years of experience in systemadministration (Windows/Linux).
· Advanced in-depth Azure Experience (Landing Zones, AVD, Monitoring, Performance Management, etc.).
· Strong expertise in VMware, Active Directory, Entra, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
· Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
· Proficiency in automation (PowerShell, Bash, other scripting tools, Intune).
· Experience with monitoring tools and incident response.
· Experience with Intune and Autopilot administration
Preferred Qualifications
· Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure, VMware VCP, Security+.
· Familiarity with DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Information Technology Generalist 2 serves as the Imaging SystemAdministrator and as such performs deployment, installation, planning, and support functions. This position performs administrative and consultative work advising staff on capabilities and limitations of available information technology and provides expertise and leadership for all phases of the comprehensive Imaging storage and retrieval system.
In this role you will be responsible to serve as the Scanning Capture and Analytics application Administrator; provide expertise on issues, problems, solutions, and capabilities and limitations of imaging and scanning technologies; handle needed interfaces between imaging and scanning systems with other agency business applications; and provides help desk support for issues with imaging, scanning, and document processing.

Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Administrator to lead the support, operation, and maintenance of IT Network infrastructure for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Essential Functions of the Job:

The Position:
This is a professional position in the classified service assigned to the City of Santa Clara's Electric Utility Department, Silicon Valley Power (SVP). This position works directly for SVP's Systems Support Group (SSG) which is the technology backbone of SVP. SSG is a growing division, we directly support a large range of technology projects and modernization efforts within SVP, including activities in support of the unprecedented load growth of the Utility.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to design, implement, and support both enterprise and utility-specific network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies. The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the organization's overall network environment, including SVP's utility communication and control systems.
In this role, the Network Administrator is responsible for administering and monitoring network services, managing a variety of advanced network and security products-including Cisco firewalls and intrusion prevention systems- and maintaining compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) requirements as well as applicable state and local mandates. This position involves supporting and maintaining complex infrastructure components such as enterprise-grade Cisco firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, such as HP Aruba switches, and RSA Authentication Manager, while also managing secure VPN access and routing protocols and future state zero trust network access initiatives.
The incumbent will oversee DNS infrastructure, support VoIP systems to ensure call quality and reliability, and proactively monitor network performance to detect and resolve issues related to
connectivity, latency, or system failures. The role also requires accurate documentation of network configurations and changes, collaboration with internal teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades, and participation in organizational capacity planning.
In addition, this position supports business continuity by ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities across all network components, investigates and reports on security incidents in accordance with departmental policy or direction from senior management, and provides technical leadership and mentorship to others.
