The candidate will be responsible supporting all operations and practices associated with the logistical team primarily located at the Kahului Logistics Center. Assist with the daily duties of shipping, receiving and tracking equipment to various location on Maui in support of the DoD mission.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties & job functions would include but are not limited to:
Serve as the alternative Base Equipment Control Officer (BCO) to maintain accurate property records in DPAS Site IDs. Process all property record transactions to ensure data/inventory balance accuracy of government property records maintained in DPAS and other miscellaneous updates within seven (7) workdays.
Create and maintain item cataloguing for L&P stock-numbers assigned to property records in DPAS Site ID DF-RDTE using the H2 Federal Supply Classification and H6 Item Name Directory tools to properly assign Federal Stock Class.
Maintain a current custodial equipment jacket folder for each equipment account. Assist the Primary Property Custodian and SLC in the reconciliation of equipment record additions, deletions and changes involving CIRs produced from DPAS Site.
Complete a schedule for monthly Floor to Book inventories of all sites. Perform and finish F2B inventories within 30 days. Input updates to DPAS. Receive "found on Base" items for unmarked assets into the appropriate UIC.

Troubleshoot, implement, and incorporate AIT scanning system for all UIC inventories. Work with the Logistics Manager and alternate ECO in resolving errors and implementation.
Implement the use of a new label system, including Non APSR labels for all property that has been identified as not needing to be accounted for in DAPS (i.e., VOIP phones and Monitors).
Engage in DEFACO, BECO, Site specific and other miscellaneous meetings as requested by the customer.
Establish and maintain supply point(s) in DPAS for reparable spares and line replacement units in support of all 15SPSS operations and mission requirements. Assist customer in identification of and purchasing of critical spares and creating asset visibility reporting in DPAS.
Process DPAS reports necessary to maintain data integrity, inventory control, and cataloging information. Provide 15 SPSS Logistics Manager with monthly DPAS records list and quarterly inventory increases/decreases report. Due to the nature of our assets being frequently relocated it will require the run of a weekly report Monday morning for all UICs.
Conduct and document initial/refresher training covering roles and responsibilities of equipment custodian and property coordinators.
Plan non-MILSTRIP shipments using best modes/methods consistent with cargo classification/level of protection, delivery requirements, receiving location and receiving capabilities. Coordinate cargo pick-up for shipments sent through Port of Honolulu and marked-for JBPHH agencies.
Verify shipment packaging, documentation, and notification requirements to prevent damage, misrouting or other discrepancies involved in the handling of shipments.
Provide a 24-hour emergency response telephone number on shipment declaration forms for use in the event of an emergency involving the shipment of hazardous material originating from the site.
Establish and maintain transportation control numbers that enable traceability of shipments from origin to destination.
As primary POC for all inbound shipments, including Det 3 tenant unit and VEs, resolve discrepancies for all inbound cargo in "frustrated" status.
Prepare and submit issue requests through normal Air Force supply channels (ILS-S) managed by the host LRS. Monitor the status of items ordered through ILS-S and follow up with the host LRS until items are received.
Perform annual inventory of all CCI items, 638PL inventory out of 647LRS Hickam, report discrepancies and request adjustments to reflect corrections. Receive, communicate arrival of new assets, tag, and request location placement from POC Capt. Conners. Inform LRS of receipt and location update.
Process requests to establish and maintain current DoD Activity Address Codes to support requisitioning and shipment transactions, Maintaining Air Force DoD Activity Address Codes (DODAAC).
Maintain a safe work environment.

Performs other duties as required by Supervisor.
Environmental Factors: Works in indoor and outdoor environments that contain excessive heat, cold and humidity, excessive dampness, dust, solvents grease, oils, moving object or vehicles and slippery or uneven surfaces. Routinely will be working at over 10,000ft elevation.
Physical Effort: Frequently lifts items and equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally over fifty (50) pounds, with 2-man assist. Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and stretching for prolonged periods will be necessary.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or applicable on-site knowledge from prior industry experiences.

The Associate Controller's chief objective is to act as deputy for the Associate Vice President and Controller. The position oversees Financial Reporting and General Accounting and tax management.

* Oversees the Financial Reporting, General Accounting and tax management ensuring that units provide fiscal services to the university, financial monitoring and oversight, processes fiscal transactions, maintains the financial records (both modified cash basis and accrual basis) for the university, and provides support to the university on fiscal policies, procedures and systems;

* Attends meetings, participates in and leads committees/project teams, and responds to inquiries;

* Provides program oversight and guidance related to the use of prescribed fire and naturally ignited wildfires to achieve Land and Resource Management Plan objectives.
* Responsible for the smoke management program to ensure compliance with state air quality standards. Coordinates with federal, state, and local government air quality officials in their development of operational procedures and reporting.
* Evaluates fuel treatments on-the-ground for compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines. Provides advice, counsel, and guidance to field personnel on correct procedures and practices.
* Develops local policy, standards, and guidelines for the Forest's Fuel Management Program, including aspects in environmental assessments, prescribed burning plans, fuel treatment standards, inventories, and smoke management.

Job Summary:
The Logistics Specialist (LS) supports 24/7 operations and performs operational, logistical support, and administrative tasks required to support ground and air transportation.
The Logistics Specialist works in conjunction with field staff and site leadership, Command Center, corporate logistics department, and stakeholders to coordinate the safe transport of minors and/or families and staff. Follows company and contract policies, procedures, and guidance.

Assists with transfer of custody and property for small and/or large groups.
Keeps in constant communication with transport teams assuming custody of minors and/or family units, to include checking status of vehicles in route.
Informs Command Center and Site leadership of any transport cancellations.
Inventories, orders, and delivers meals, supplies, electronics, and/or clothing; prepares backpacks with essentials including tablet and mobile phone for trips.
Drives passengers to and from client sites and/or airports.
Installs/removes child car and booster seats based on age and height/weight, as required.
Observes and assists with UC and/or family unit orientation, answers questions, and describes the transport process.
Assists in charter flights/buses preparations, to include reviewing documentation, inspecting bathrooms for cleanliness to ensure high standard of quality, and driving to flightline.
Cleans vehicles, sanitizes interiors, and ensures they are fueled and ready for ground trips.
Checks vehicles for contraband and ensure coolers and emergency kits are in vehicles.
Updates information in the company's database systems (e.g., Canvas, Verizon Connect, Pantry, fleet system, etc.) and prepares transportation, equipment, inventory, and meal reports as well as Ad Hoc reports as required.
Assists in tracking, and monitoring logistics specific training (e.g., DOT, inventory, fleet, facilities, etc.) and assists with logistics projects as needed.
Assists management staff with cost benefit estimates as directed by supervisor.
Monitors and reports DOT compliance, camera surveillance and GPS tracking, driver IDs (e.g., key fobs), and Hours of Service information for compliance purposes and elevates concerns to supervisor and Site Manager.
Follows company quality control and inspection plans and executes the company's Fleet Management program, including Preventive Maintenance (PM), mileage tracking, registration, tolls, inspections, logs, etc., as required.
Tracks inventory and supplies; monitors availability of stock; coordinates with Logistics Supervisor and Site Manager on shortages.
Executes the facility management program, and reports any site repairs and building wear and tear to Logistics Supervisor and Site Manager

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
Possess an associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college (a high school diploma with two or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for an associate degree) and,
Have at least two years of documented experience in a field related to security, law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; certification, licensure, and credentials applicable to the professional accreditation of the position (a minimum of four years of experience is required when a high school diploma with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for an associate degree).
