Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. This role includes monitoring property access, conducting routine patrols, assisting guests and residents, and responding to situations calmly and professionally. The ideal candidate is observant, customer-focused, and able to manage stressful situations with sound judgment while following local, state, and federal laws. Rangers communicate directly with management regarding emergencies or escalated concerns. Your job will include: * Monitor and control property entry points to ensure authorized access. * Ensure gates are secure, functioning properly, and reported if issues arise. * Log all guest vehicles and pedestrian entries accurately. * Conduct routine patrols of the community. * Greet guests, check them in, and issue visitor passes as needed. * Enforce community rules respectfully and consistently. * Identify areas of concern and respond appropriately; contact law enforcement when necessary. * Answer and manage the Ranger station cell phone. * Provide on-call emergency response when required. * Communicate promptly with management regarding incidents or escalated situations. * Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & experience you need: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic reading, writing and math skills and the ability to use computer applications. * Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. * Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically. * Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor. * Experience working in gated communities.. * Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance. * Ability to working weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
