MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students' academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
Providing daily supervision and mentorship
Managing household routines and student schedules
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.

Purpose:
The Program Specialist II supports the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Honors Program with a focus on event logistics, recruitment, program coordination, and operational support. This role partners closely with professional staff, student leaders, campus partners, and industry partners to ensure programs run smoothly, information is accurate, and timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Logistics & Coordination
* Coordinate planning and execution for Engineering Honors events, including large-scale programs (e.g., career fairs, orientations) and smaller engagement events
* Manage logistics such as timelines, supplies, space reservations, vendor coordination, and on-site support
* Anticipate needs, track details, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
* Work with student leaders and volunteers to support event execution
* Support events that involve external partners, including industry speakers, sponsors, and recruiters, as needed
2. Recruitment & Prospective Student Engagement
* Support recruitment through prospective student events, presentations, and campus visits
* Serve as a point of contact for prospective students and families, providing accurate program information

The R&D Electrochemical Test Specialist, under the direction of the R&D Technical Project Lead (I&C), is primarily responsible for assembly of test setups, execution of tests, and data analyses related to development of electrochemical instrumentation for molten salts in support of TE Engineering as part of TEs R&D Program. Within this role, responsibilities include:
Coordination with R&D Technical Project Lead (I&C) to execute test programs;
Provision of subject matter expertise on analytical chemistry equipment and methods, electroanalytical methods, and salt chemistry;
Review of internal documents and calculations as related to test setup design and test scope, procedures, specifications, and reports
Authorship of calculations and reports summarizing the results of data analyses and tests;
Presentation of test results, assumptions, risks, constraints and proposing paths forward;
Coordination with suppliers and TE Procurement staff to receive materials and equipment purchased from various suppliers;
Working with suppliers to commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair test equipment as-required;
Collaboration with the R&D Project Coordinator to maintain and update schedule including status of all projects.

Responsibilities:
Works closely with team leadership to determine training needs and plans within the College. Collaborates with other units and third-party entities to enhance and improve established projects and deliver additional training services. Development specialist job in Huntsville, TX
Performs complex consultative services and technical assistance work. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing an agency program; providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, and the public; and providing guidance to others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Participates in program planning, development, and implementation of the processes to assist agency facilities in the assessment of the effectiveness of the maintenance program; and conducts surveys and reviews to determine compliance with maintenance requirements, policies, and procedures.
B. Studies and analyzes operations and problems and prepares reports of findings and recommendations; assists program staff in determining trends and resolving technical problems; and reviews and assists in evaluating information on service delivery system methods, outputs, and activities in order to identify gaps in resources and recommend improvements.
C. Recommends and coordinates activities to produce a more effective program; and assists in analyzing the applications and variations of programs to develop an action plan for improvement or to initiate new programs.
D. Assists in preparing justifications for the implementation of procedural and policy changes; prepares and assists in the preparation of administrative reports, studies, and specialized research projects; and assists in developing policy and procedures manuals.
E. Provides training and technical assistance in the program area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education, Experience, and Training
1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by
the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department
of Education (USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice, Public Administration,
Management, or a related field preferred. Each year of experience as described below in
excess of the required four years may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an
accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis.
2. Four years full-time, wage-earning program administration, public administration, or
technical program support experience.
3. Craftsman experience preferred.

B. Knowledge and Skills
1. Knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration and management.
2. Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and statutes pertaining
to maintenance and construction.
3. Knowledge of agency and departmental organizational structure, policies, procedures,
rules, and regulations preferred.
4. Skill to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
5. Skill to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the
public.
6. Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
7. Skill in administrative problem-solving techniques.
8. Skill in the use of computers and related equipment in a stand-alone or local area network
environment.
9. Skill to establish goals and objectives.
10. Skill to develop and evaluate administrative policies and procedures.
11. Skill to review technical data and prepare technical reports.
