Position Overview:
As a BCBA, you will work directly with individuals on the autism spectrum, conducting assessments and creating individualized behavior intervention plans. You'll collaborate with a team of Behavior Therapists to provide high-quality care and ensure client progress. We are looking for professionals who are committed to improving the quality of life for those with autism through evidence-based strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (VB-MAPP, Vineland, AFLS, etc.) and create individualized behavior intervention programs.
Provide supervision to Program Managers, Behavior Therapists (RBTs, BTs), and BCBA candidates, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Develop and monitor client progress, providing detailed progress reports and monthly updates.
Supervise staff and provide ongoing supervision hours and continuing education (CEUs).
Travel to client homes and offices as needed for assessments, meetings, and training.
Ensure compliance with insurance expectations and maintain data collection and analysis.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.
Ability to pass an FBI/DOJ clearance and background check.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are highly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Baccalaureate degree from a four-year college or university in Social Science or related field and one year of experience in vocational or family counseling, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: Thorough knowledge of counseling practices with emphasis on family counseling. Comprehensive knowledge of available social services. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
Program Implementation and Direct Client Services:
Utilize a variety of approaches to establish and maintain a relationship with youth
Implement appropriate supervision, authority, and discipline to set limits for behavior and help each resident practice self-control
Facilitate a high level of youth engagement
Ensure a health home environment and client-focused programming
Maintain individual contact with each youth at weekly:
Discuss goals and track progress towards goals.
Understand any medications that they are prescribed, helping them learn how to refill prescriptions as needed
Connect youth with community resources
Ensure ongoing contact with outside persons and entities such as: natural supports, family, referring agency/case carrying agency, ILP, other and community resources
Support youth:
With the development of independent living skills
Support the goals outlined in the Transition Independent Living Plan (TILP) and/or the Appraisal Needs and Service Plan
Work with youth to identify additional goals and tasks related to employment, education, and housing
Establish and monitor client budgets and submit purchase requests
With transportation as needed when it fits within the resident's goals
All social work activities with clients is supervised by the social worker supervisor, generally the Program Manager or Program Director.

SUMMARY
The CaseManager will perform as the casemanager on Support Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program cases. The CaseManager will be responsible for providing a casemanagement plan that will include the provision of housing placement services, temporary financial assistance, emergency housing when necessary, and other support services from both internal and external resources to help stabilize the position of “at-risk” families. The casemanagement objective is to stabilize the family to gain or retain permanent housing, and to reinforce self-sufficiency to ameliorate the possibility of the veteran families going into homelessness.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for achieving the goals assigned and must be prepared to provide corrective action plans for the same upon request from the supervisors.

YOUTH CASEMANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide comprehensive casemanagement services for the Hope Gardens (HG) Youth Program.
Create, implement, and monitor individual service plans for each enrolled youth at HG.
Follow the Trauma Informed Care philosophy when supporting and addressing the needs of the youth and families served at HG.
Use Crisis intervention therapeutic effective strategies and techniques in and out the classroom such as collaborative helping strategies and harm reduction practices related to children and youth.
Connect the youth to resources in the community.
Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate social, spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs and development.
Work alongside Family CaseManagers to ensure the youths' needs are being met through CFT meetings, school, IEPS, the Regional Center, DCFS Parent Partners, and other outside resources.
Ensure that services, including counseling, casemanagement, education, personal development, and job training, are being provided to apprentices and community assistants under the Youth Program.
Collaborate with community leaders, organizations, and public agencies to promote the organization's community service programs to benefit the children and youth at Hope Gardens.
Works alongside the Executive Program Director, Program Manager, and Chaplains to ensure students' needs are being adequately met while at Hope Gardens.
Maintain accurate case logs and files for youth enrolled in the Youth Program.
Meet monthly with parents/guardians regarding their child's Individual Service Plan and goals.
Help coordinate and assist with activities for youth trips and summer camps.
Local travel, as required.
Conduct other tasks and projects as assigned by the Executive Programs Director.

Position Overview:
As a BCBA, you will work directly with individuals on the autism spectrum, conducting assessments and creating individualized behavior intervention plans.
