Physical Requirements: Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position and effectively communicate policies, procedures, and reports to employees, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies as needed. Must function independently, as well as a member of multiple teams, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, employees, regulators, the public, and support agencies. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the nursing community. Able to move at least 35lbs. without assistance, able to bend, sit, and work in small areas and displays stamina to assist residents where needed and in emergencies.
