The Meals on Wheels Nutrition Site Assistant is a part-time, days only position in which the Assistant will work at the nutrition site in Cincinnati. Ten paid holidays per year and paid time off accrual starts day one. This position will be dedicated to the Anderson Senior Center located at 7970 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45255. Starting pay is $16 per hour. Qualifications PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serving meals, adherence to nutrition site requirements and paperwork, and cleaning the congregate space after the meal. TYPICAL WORK CONDITIONS: Work is performed in the congregate meal space at the nutrition site. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Obtain paperwork as required. Prepares the meal count for the next day. Communicates with the participants. Receives and serves the food at acceptable temperatures. Conducts fire drills. Provides nutrition training. Assures that the congregate space is cleaned daily. Maintain records of food temps according to policy. Work with volunteers, community partners, and funding monitors.
