Your Opportunity Stantec has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineer (FE) with large-scale marine and civil works design and construction inspection expertise to provide designer-of-record support. This is a fulltime, 5-day per week assignment. This role requires on site presence, Monday through Friday. We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong construction engineering capabilities and experience. Candidate will support our designer of record office and field team for an ongoing major military construction project located at the US Navy's Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. The first phase of the project involves the construction of 134 large diameter, drilled "deep foundation" shafts constructed in a marine environment. The FE role will work alongside the geotechnical engineering team to provide quality assurance oversight of all aspects of shaft construction and acceptance.
