Blockchain.com is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated, and resourceful team player to be our Senior Corporate Accountant. This role is a key member of the finance team providing accounting support, reporting and analysis. Reporting directly to the Group Controller, this position works closely with members of the finance team domestically and internationally and is responsible for overseeing the company's consolidation process of all entities.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing and developing team members. We are focused on hiring individuals who possess a combination of strong leadership and technical skills and have a passion for being innovative and delivering exceptional ideas and service to our stakeholders.
This position is in Dallas, Texas and requires to be in the office 4 days a week.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Manage consolidation-related activities such as changes to the global chart of accounts, entity reporting hierarchies, consolidation mappings, intercompany eliminations, and other processes/controls.
Prepare and review consolidation journal entries, including intercompany eliminations, investment eliminations, and foreign currency translation adjustments.
Analyze and validate the foreign currency and translation impact on financial results.
Serve as a key contact point related to the consolidation process ensuring strong communication and timely resolution of issues with our global finance team.
Analyze and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions, working with regional accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain the company's consolidation system (NetSuite Multi-Book) and ensure data integrity.
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and statement of changes in equity.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including the preparation of management reports and accompanying schedules.
Work closely with various departments (e.g., FP&A, Tax, Treasury), and external auditors.
Provide guidance and support to other accounting staff on consolidation-related matters.
Participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
Identify opportunities to streamline the consolidation and reporting processes, implement automated solutions and improve efficiency and accuracy.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Preference for prior experience in crypto, fintech, or start-up environments
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
CPA certification is preferred.
3-5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on consolidations.
Public accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly consolidation accounting.
Experience with consolidation systems (e.g., NetSuite Multi-Book) is highly desirable.
Experience working with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and prioritize optimally, with consideration of broader team goals
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

We're seeking a results-oriented Corporate Financial Analyst to lead our core financial planning processes, reporting, and strategic analysis. We are looking for a results-driven, high-performing manager to join our newly formed Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting team. Initially, you will play a critical role in supporting the ongoing external audit activities for multiple entities, to ensure timely and high quality financial reporting along with well researched technical accounting opinions. Longer term, you will implement industry best practice financial reporting processes and own all financial reporting for multiple entities. The Manager will interface with external auditors, acting as a central coordinator in support of the VP of Accounting to deliver on time executions of audits. To be successful in this role you'll need to have highly tuned skills in financial reporting, be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and bring in relevant audit and accounting expertise to support FalconX in its growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of all FalconX financial reporting including statements of cash flows, footnote disclosures etc.
Design and implement industry leading practices around financial reporting and ensure a high level of internal controls to drive accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Partner with the FP&A team to bridge seamlessly between management reporting and US GAAP reporting and be able to discuss the differences with senior management
Perform technical research and prepare technical accounting memos for new products as well as existing portfolio and businesses
Work closely with product and trading teams and be prepared to defend accounting positions with senior management
Be a value add partner to the accounting team, communicating the details of new products and where applicable provide training on the accounting treatment
Serve as the primary point of contact for external financial statement auditors, coordinating all aspects of the audit process and discussing complex accounting issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as operations, legal, and engineering to gather information and address audit-related inquiries as needed
Lead process improvement initiatives, including leveraging AI technology tools to eliminate redundancies and improve the efficiency of the reporting process

Required Qualifications
Active Certified Public Accountant
Big 4 accounting firm audit experience
Experience of 5+ years auditing a similar industry (Financial Services, Broker-Dealer etc.) and ideally exposure to trading. Digital asset experience is highly preferred
Broad technical accounting experience, expert knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards and its application; IFRS experience is a plus
Understanding of E2E trade flow & related dynamics (settlement, market-making etc.), ideally in a broker-dealer business model
Enthusiastic, self-starter, and detail-oriented with excellent organization & problem-solving capabilities and strong verbal and written communication skills
Location: New York or Bay Area
The base pay for this role is expected to be between $157,000-213,000 USD for a Manager level in the New York City and San Francisco Bay Area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, qualifications and the level at which the candidate is hired.

Your key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities
In our Financial Services Organization (FSO), the Quantitative Advisory Services (QAS) group operates as an integral component of a broader team that provides comprehensive quantitative risk management services to help identify, measure, manage and monitor the market, credit, operational and liquidity risks, asset-liability management, capital management, and other business activities of our clients across the Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management sectors. The QAS team is specifically dedicated to projects focused on development, implementation, testing, validation and other quantitative services of analytic models, which are utilized in, but not limited to:
risk management including market risk, credit risk (including counterparty credit risk, wholesale / retail), liquidity / treasury risk, operational risk, compliance risk (including Financial Crime risk), climate risk, etc
regulatory capital analytics including Basel III / Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)
front office derivative pricing across various asset classes (e.g., interest rate, foreign exchange, equity, credit, commodity and structured products)
banking book credit analytics, including loss forecasting, reserves/CECL, and PPNR (Pre-Provision Net Revenue)
balance sheet management
wealth and asset management
The QAS team also adeptly leverages advanced analytics applications, featuring Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI / ML), including Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities empowering the delivery of unparalleled insights and solutions to the clients.
This is a highly collaborative area, where you'll always have the support of your team while working on multiple high-profile projects. It's a challenging specialist area, so we won't expect you to hit the ground running - you'll learn as you go. To qualify for the role, you must have
A strong academic record with Master's degree in Computational / Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science etc.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Interim Senior Analyst will be a key member of the organization's investment team, contributing to the sourcing, diligence, execution, and oversight of impact investments. The position will balance executional responsibilities with opportunities to take on ownership of end-to-end investment processes, requiring strong project management and relationship building skills. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Investment Sourcing & Diligence.
Collaborate with team to cultivate and manage pipeline of opportunities aligned with the Investment team's strategy.
Assist in all aspects of due diligence process and lead when appropriate.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and diligence, including market research, competitive landscape mapping, financial structuring and financial modeling.
Participate in management team meetings, reference calls, and stakeholder interviews to assess investment opportunities.
Draft high-quality investment memos and presentations for senior leadership and the Investment Committee.
Lead thematic and sector research that informs investment strategy.
Portfolio Management & Reporting
Support relationships with portfolio of investees, including regular communication with fund managers, contractors and other partners.
Review and analyze fund and/or portfolio company performance reports, tracking key performance indicators.
Create and maintain portfolio dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
Support and coordinate quarterly and annual portfolio reviews and reporting with internal and external partners.
Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
Align with Program Strategy, Communications, and Legal teams on investment activities tied to organizational priorities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5-7 years of professional investment experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, asset management, or impact investing or an equivalent combination of advanced training and experience
