ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Comply with PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and all PCC Quality Rules and Safety Rules * Identify and reports safety problems. * Safe forklift operation transporting, moving and inspecting parts * Conduct Nonconforming Material Review and disposition * Perform product nonconformance root cause analysis, corrective action and execution * Develop system/Process based corrective/preventative action * Review CARs for viability, completion and effectiveness measurements * Validate Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for product with dimensional issues * Process all valid RMAs * Lead, validate and provide 8D responses upon customer request * Assist in the continuous improvement projects for chronic nonconformance issues * Work with suppliers on continuous improvement activities * Inspect parts for dimensional compliance using basic measuring equipment including, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, "snap gauges", profilometers, etc. * Drawing / Blueprint reading and basic GD&T * Document and report nonconformances or out-of-tolerance conditions on inspection documents and work orders. Create Nonconformance Material Reports (NCMR) * Oracle - use and transactions * Complete Quality reports * Monitor quality control activities and processes at suppliers. Review and analyze corrective action and non-conformance data to eliminate non-conformances. May assist with suppliers in dock to stock programs to reduce/eliminate the need for incoming inspection activities. * Develop reports and metrics on various aspects of quality assurance function including cost of scrap and rework operations, accuracy of inspection, quality of outgoing product, etc. Monitor nonconforming parts through RMA and the rework process including timely disposition and closure. * Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
