Sr. IT Analyst .NET - Center of Excellence
General Description
This position will support front end and back-end coding for our cardiovascular .NET based applications and mentor other members of the team. Ideal candidate will significant senior level recent hands-on (not supervisory) experience with VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET and WCF as well as SQL Server in Healthcare. This position will help maintain current system while we migrate to Azure.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level
Responsibilities and duties include:
This is 100% remote position
* Builds, test, and deploys code for our .NET based applications including front and backend code to include use of C# and VB using Visual Studio IDE.
* Must be experienced with Git.
* Some use of Python and Javascript for ancillary applications.
* Help desk rotation including after hours and weekends including a 5-6 week rotation on-call Monday-Monday morning.
* Code deployment after hours and weekends
Qualifications at this Level
Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related or clinical or technical field.
Experience: Minimum five years of related recent experience is required. Strong front end forms building. 5 years recent hands on coding not supervisory, 10 year developer with recent developer with .net being more recent. Front end focus with forms and C# .Net Frameworks

Degree, Licensure, and/or Certification: Certification in an area of application support of a technical or support nature.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities:

The System Analyst Level 2 position performs a variety of complex technical tasks focused on the administration, management, and maintenance of over 1,200 UNIX-based servers in an enterprise-level computing virtual and physical environment.
This position works closely with:

Primary Job Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, administration, and system security of a multi-platform environment which includes Linux (primarily Redhat, but may include Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, and Suse), VMWare ESXi, and Nutanix AHV
Adhere to strong systems administration techniques and procedures
Assist in the development and maintenance of automated systems for server OS deployment in both on-premise and cloud environments
Establish and maintain best practices and procedures for patch management, virus management, vulnerability management, and operating system improvements
Analyze and improve system performance
Troubleshoot system failures and resolve. Identify and document permanent fixes
Participate in the automation of services using Ansible
Coordinate/consult with application development and database administrator staff to profile application needs and provide the appropriate environment(s) needed for stability and performance
Communicate issues effectively to team members and management
Provide professional, courteous customer service
Provide incident management, prioritization, and resolution of problems/tasks for users
Participate in medium to large business projects; lead small to medium infrastructure projects
Participate in documenting policies and procedures
Work with client service representatives and various levels of team members across business units within the company.
Provide team members with detailed platform overview training and supporting documentation for operational, configuration, or other procedural purposes.
Attend status calls when requested and provides detailed technical support.
Essential Skills
Linux Server Administrator with 3-5 years professional experience in Systems Administration, Virtualization, and Storage technologies on various Linux platforms (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and Suse)
Experience with server provisioning, patching, troubleshooting, and securing servers with regular firewall update and monitoring
Package and patch management using Satellite, RPM, and YUM
Experience with performance tuning of virtual servers, and management of server resources between Virtual Machines.
Experienced in creating and maintaining Cron jobs, Systems backup, and OS installation using Jumpstart and Kickstart for RedHat Enterprise Linux
Experience in script automation using Python, Ruby, Perl, and Bash.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
Experience in Linux backup/restore using TAR as well as formatting and disk partitioning.

As a Systems Analyst III- Epic Prelude, you will assist with feasibility analysis, estimating, planning, designing, developing, quality assurance evaluation and modification of automated systems. A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Ohio, Florida, or Nevada from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with rotating on-call requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Participate in feasibility analysis, estimating, planning, designing, developing, prototyping, implementing, quality assurance evaluation and modification of automated systems.
Define training requirements and assist with automated systems training.
Recommend solutions to enhance system functionality.
Support and design department project assignments and small system implementation.
Provide input to solution development efforts.
Maintain schedules.
Track information system resources for assigned projects.
Report on project timelines and document performance.
Develop work products, documentation of operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities and task level resource requirements.
Maintain project task plans, documentation and communications.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's Degree in InformationTechnology, Computer Science or a related field and five years of experience in IT dealing with applications development and support or end user training, or equivalent experience in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position OR High School Diploma/GED and seven years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree and three years of experience
ITIL Foundations Certification upon or within six months of hire
