The Lab Technician is responsible for testing raw materials to ensure they are of standard quality for Metromont. RESPONSIBILITIES Collect and remove all mold test specimens from previous day. Remove cylinders that needed to be broken down for curing tanks.
Perform aggregates (rock/sand) radiations which includes put test sample in oven and dry, run through splitter, weigh, put in shaker, weigh each breakdown, and enter data in system.
Make 12x12 color samples as needed.
Break tank specimens after drying, record beaks in system.
Assist in testing wet concrete (air, slump, temperature, and unit weight).
Make test specimens cylinders as needed.
Actively participate in companies “6S”, “Lean” and Safety Programs.
Inspect beds before and after pours.
Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

As a Quality Control (QC) Pharmacy Technician, you will be the on-site subject matter expert for quality control activities at our 503a compounding pharmacy located in Boynton Beach, FL. This role is responsible for quality oversight activities that ensure compounded processes are well documented and that products are handled and tested per facility SOPs. This position will be responsible for record review, raw material receipt and testing, product retains, product sampling and testing, lot release, and environmental monitoring. You will partner closely with pharmacy operations to ensure the pharmacy location maintains a high level of quality and compliance.
This role will report to the Manager, Corporate Quality - Pharmacy on the Clinical team.What You'll Do
Support QC oversight for compounding operations.
Assist with development, support implementation, and maintain SOPs, Forms, Work Instructions and other required controlled documents.
Own the finished product retain program, ensuring a sample of each compounded lot is retained per SOP.
Conduct reviews of cleaning logs, compounding records, and other controlled records created throughout the facility.
Assist in root cause investigations and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Assist in the execution of training on quality topics, functioning as the on-site SME for quality.
Provide Pharmacy Compliance with requests arising from pharmacy inspections.
Ensure the highest quality and cleanliness of the facility and equipment, leading our environmental monitoring program.
Conduct Quality Assurance checks on relevant product batches according to predefined guidelines, reviewing final test results to perform lot release.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Bachelor's degree in any science discipline, preferred.
Current pharmacy technician license in Florida or the ability to obtain pharmacy technician licensure, preferred.
At least 3 years experience working in a manufacturing production environment or a high volume compounding pharmacy required.
Experience working in a cGMP or 503B facility where PPE, cleanliness, and sterile sampling techniques are part of daily routine, required.
Experience identifying need for and assisting in the creation of SOPs and other controlled documents.
Knowledge of environmental monitoring in cGMP environments.
Experience with Good Documentation Practices, preferred.
Experience training others, preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to think strategically and tactically.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

What You'll Do:
Ensure Quality Control. Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site. Adhere to testing methods, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Document and Report Information. Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner, interpreting, documenting, and storing the results. Communicate test results in a timely manner to the supervisor and properly document in a database.
Maintain Lab Standards. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in and around the lab. Troubleshoot problems and review basic product specifications. Inspect, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment periodically.
Monitor Stockpile. Inspect stockpiles, materials sources, and truckloads at plant sites. Monitor the daily construction of the stockpile to ensure that segregation and contamination is kept to a minimum or eliminated. Notify management immediately if contamination is identified.
Inspect Equipment and Structures. Conduct routine inspections of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Quality ControlTechnician you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the products produced by the Yancey Engineering Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases of production to verify compliance of build
Document phase inspections for each build
Inspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication for UL 142 compliance
Scan and maintain filing of compliance documentation to job folders
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Capable of reading tape measurement and reading/interpreting YES shop drawings
Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, Power point

Job Overview:
The Quality Technician is a dedicated and detail-oriented member of the plant Quality Assurance Team. This role is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, recording, and analyzing data, and actively working to improve the overall product quality for a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position assists the Quality Manager in the development of control plans and process documentation, plays an active role in the development of quality assurance procedures, and will be actively involved in process improvement efforts to ensure that product meets specification and customer expectations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a culture of safety as the number one priority.
Work with other departments to improve the quality culture of the plant and seek buy-in for quality objectives and projects.
Participate in internal process and product audits such as Layered Process Audits.
Performing various levels of inspection such as incoming/receiving, in-process manufacturing, and finished goods using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures), and determine if product is conforming per production drawings and engineering specifications.
Document, report, and determine the disposition of non-conforming materials.
Participate in the implementation of product quality improvement initiatives to reduce process variation and prevent defects.
Use quality tools (Poka-Yoke, 5-Why, 8D, Pareto, and others) to troubleshoot, identify and analyze problems to the true root-cause level, and work with the appropriate teams to implement solutions and ensure the identified problems are resolved.
Lead Kaizen events on manufacturing floor with crosses functional teams.
Train employees on QA tools and techniques as required.
Support the plant with the implementation and sustainment of the quality management system.
Documentation of work instructions/procedures, creating reports using Microsoft Office applications, and using the ERP system to track plant KPIs related to Quality metrics.
Participates as an active, constructive, and proactive member of the quality team.
Completes other duties as assigned by the Plant Quality Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or higher preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as a member of a quality assurance team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of measurement tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in using computer equipment and Microsoft Office software applications.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data collection techniques.
Strong knowledge of quality improvement tools and techniques. Knowledge of advanced quality tools such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), Quality Technician (CQT), or Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.

This position assists the Quality Manager in the development of control plans and process documentation, plays an active role in the development of quality assurance procedures, and will be actively involved in process improvement efforts to ensure that product meets specification and customer expectations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a culture of safety as the number one priority.
* Work with other departments to improve the quality culture of the plant and seek buy-in for quality objectives and projects.
* Participate in internal process and product audits such as Layered Process Audits.
* Performing various levels of inspection such as incoming/receiving, in-process manufacturing, and finished goods using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures), and determine if product is conforming per production drawings and engineering specifications.
* Document, report, and determine the disposition of non-conforming materials.
* Participate in the implementation of product quality improvement initiatives to reduce process variation and prevent defects.
* Use quality tools (Poka-Yoke, 5-Why, 8D, Pareto, and others) to troubleshoot, identify and analyze problems to the true root-cause level, and work with the appropriate teams to implement solutions and ensure the identified problems are resolved.
* Lead Kaizen events on manufacturing floor with crosses functional teams.
* Train employees on QA tools and techniques as required.
* Support the plant with the implementation and sustainment of the quality management system.
* Documentation of work instructions/procedures, creating reports using Microsoft Office applications, and using the ERP system to track plant KPIs related to Quality metrics.
* Participates as an active, constructive, and proactive member of the quality team.
* Completes other duties as assigned by the Plant Quality Manager.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or higher preferred).
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as a member of a quality assurance team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in the use of measurement tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in using computer equipment and Microsoft Office software applications.
* Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data collection techniques.
* Strong knowledge of quality improvement tools and techniques. Knowledge of advanced quality tools such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
* ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), Quality Technician (CQT), or Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) a plus.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.

Update and maintain QC boards, quality communications, and posted quality alerts.
Create all Certificates of Conformance (COCs) in accordance with customer requirements.
Prepare and complete customer-specific certification packets prior to finished goods shipment.
Perform material verification by reviewing shop papers, work orders, and production documentation.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Ability to perform routine inspections and document results accurately
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and quality documentation
Ability to write routine reports and complete quality records (e.g., NCRs, inspection logs, COCs)
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimal
Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions using commonâsense reasoning
Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and customers

The Quality Technician supports the manufacturing of products and validates adherence to quality procedures and standards. The Quality Technician responds to quality problems and supports a cross functional team through root cause and corrective action activities to correct problems and help prevent future occurrences. The Technician assists the Quality Manager and the Operations Team in daily activities as assigned.
