Responsibilities of a Service Technician, Supermarket Refrigeration - Sarasota:
Accurately document maintenance and repair activities.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent service and address their needs.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems early and enhance equipment efficiency.
Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, display cases, and HVAC units.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as coil cleaning, filter replacement, and refrigerant level checks.
Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with precision.
Qualifications:
Ability to work on-call and rotating shifts.
Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
Knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical systems.
Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments.
Proficient in using specialized diagnostic and repair tools.
Strong experience with commercial refrigeration systems and troubleshooting.
