What You Will Be Doing: As the Shipping and Receiving Manager for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will be responsible for logistics and supply chain management processes. You will also lead the YES Shipping Technicians as they manage all inbound and outbound freight. Primary Responsibilities: Oversee/coordinate all in-bound and customer supplied equipment for reception valued $200 million along with project related parts valued $20 million. Maintain inventory listing daily of “all” equipment and parts for packaging valued $220 million . 5s application for multiple sites. Oversee/coordinate all out-bound packaging. Acute collaboration with Project Management team fortifying ready to ship dates are never missed. Daily collaboration with PM's follow up on BOM, specifically on “long lead” items and “back order” parts and equipment. Weekly inspection ensuring all assets both customer supplied, job related parts and equipment are properly stored, sealed, covered appropriately preventing any type of damage specifically, weather related. When necessary, facilitate any equipment rental needed for loading, un-loading, moving, re-arranging “all” equipment and parts while in Yancey Engineered Solutions possession. Behave, create, and maintain behaviors in compliance with Yancey Bros. core values: SAFETY-INTEGRITY-TEAMWORK-EXCELLENCE-SENSE OF URGENCY. Collaborate with QC Team inbound inspections of “all” equipment and parts. DOT & CDL compliance. Supervision 10-15 team members. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management. Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you should have prior leadership experience and Deep understanding of the EPG packaging design business. This position also requires someone who has strong accountability and initiative. In addition working in a team environment is essential to this position. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or related equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred. Required Qualifications/Skills: Leadership Vision Thinker Drive Strong accountability and initiative Strong interpersonal and communication skills Advanced problem-solving capabilities. Previous experience and demonstrated success in team leadership and leader development. Deep understanding of the EPG packaging design business.
