Primary responsibilities include assisting with business development and marketing efforts for our Wisconsin Transportation Group, while also identifying and pursuing areas of company growth across all work disciplines in Wisconsin.
What your day-to-day will look like
Identify and develop new business opportunities for our Wisconsin Transportation Group.
Provide training and mentorship for Wisconsin Transportation Group (approx. 8 employees and growing).
Be responsible to client managers/technical staff regarding pursuit of business development and marketing opportunities in Wisconsin.
Assist other work discipline practice leads with business development based on existing relationships.
Work with the B&W leadership team and Human Resources on staffing needs, utilization, hiring, and training needs.
Make frequent contact with clients in Milwaukee County and surrounding areas, monitor client satisfaction and ensure that their requests are responded to.
Help prepare project-specific proposals and participate in project interviews.
Engage prospective clients, understand their issues, identify opportunities to support these clients.
Work with Transportation Group Leader to monitor Transportation Wisconsin Group billings and marketing expense.
Complete or participate in the design of civil engineering projects, when necessary.
Education/Certification Requirements
* Bachelors degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering.
* Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
Must-haves, what you will bring
20 or more years of experience in the design and project management of transportation, structural, stormwater, or general civil projects.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Excellent written, verbal, computer and organizational skills.

Compensation -The pay range for this role is $140,000 $165,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities
As a vital role charged with the management of both people and processes, the WarehouseManager will be responsible for all phases of the warehousing operations. The selected individual will manage a team of employees who are performing a wide variety of shipping/receiving and inventory management activities. Prior experience in warehouse leadership/management
Bachelors or Associates degree in Operations Management or related field is ideal but not required

8. Must be skilled in Lift Truck Operations to load/off load various packaged materials.
9. Must have a valid Drivers License and insurable for PBI vehicle operations.

PRIMARY ROLE:
Plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or productions shops ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so product and supplies are located and distributed to proper locations in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
* Plan, lay-out and maintain efficient warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
* Examine and inspect warehouse conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures. Take corrective action as needed.
* Listen to other employee's and manager's suggestions, complaints, problems, safety concerns and recommendations, evaluate each and then devise and implement a plan of action. Get Ops Managers to concur.
* Develop, recommend, and provide process improvement ideas to increase operational efficiency.
* Identify safety hazards and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
* Ensure warehouse activities related to shipping, picking, and receiving are conducted in accordance with company policy and procedure.
* Inspect all shipping parcels for adequate packaging to prevent damage during shipment.
* Supervise and direct activities of assigned team members.
* Supervises up to twelve team members. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing work; assisting in performance evaluations; assisting in rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Coach members of the team that are not achieving productivity targets.
* Assist and coordinate inventory and cycle counts with DC Manager.
* Assure material safety data sheets accompany all materials as required.
* Plan and execute yearly inventories.
* Assist DC Manager in development of new policies and procedures.
* Perform other job-related duties as requested by DC Manager.

What You Will Be Doing:
As the Inventory Manager for Yancey's Electric Power Generation group, you will provide optimal inventory accuracy for the dealership. You will perform multiple duties related to inventory acquisition and inventory performance, vendor performance and internal customer service to achieve the greatest return on investment for Yancey Bros. Co. To be effective, you must establish an understanding of the core objectives and accountabilities for the role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Daily receiving of new inventory.
Code CAT invoices. Update inventory with the data on the invoices such as part numbers, serial numbers, adding inbound freight costs, so that inventory is accurate. When update complete, send copies of all invoices to AP for payment.
Code (Non-CAT) vendor invoices. Update inventory with the data on the invoices such as part numbers, serial numbers, adding inbound freight cost so that inventory is accurate. When update complete, send copies of all invoices to AP for payment.
Dealer Trades search.
Monthly order placement.
Maintaining and updating configurations.
Complete and maintain aged inventory reports.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an Inventory Manager in a similar industry, possess strong problem solving skills and a strong focus on customer service.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred.
1-3 years of experience in industry experience.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this position will frequently contact people via email, phone, and in person.
Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft suite of business software Excel.
This person must be highly organized and analytical with an advanced attention to detail.
Must be able to analyze problems and develop solutions.
