Been a stable employer in Sonoma County since 1955 Job Responsibilities Receives, unpacks and verifies inventory from UPS, FedEx, GLS, DHL, etc. Sorts and places inventory according to predetermined inventory procedures. Picks, verifies, packs, and ships product using automated warehousing system. Conducts daily physical inventory counts. (Cycle counts) Transports inventory to designated areas in the warehouse utilizing appropriate tools, vehicles, hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, etc. Performs quality inspections and accurate counts on incoming and outgoing inventory and products. Maintains a safe and clean working environment. Performs required administrative tasks on a computer via internal software and via email. Answers tracking and shipping costs questions from Sales Team via e-mail. Reports any problem issues immediately to direct manager and/ or to Purchasing. Performs other similar duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of one to two years related experience. Familiarity with warehousing practices and handling methods. Forklift certified. (Preferred not required.) Ability to work well as part of a team. Computer literate. Good typing skills. (30 WPM+ preferred.) Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities, workflow and meet deadlines. Flexible and willing to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Physical Requirements Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand for long periods of time. Wear appropriate safety equipment.
