The APP also examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. This position could require inpatient M-F rotation on the UMH Hepatology inpatient service for the right candidate. For outpatient ambulatory work, this would require 7-8 half days in outpatient ambulatory clinics and at Uhealth locations. We have ambulatory practices at UHhealth Towers, UMHC Crohns and colitis Center, Kendall, Lennar, Doral, Sole Mia, Boca, Plantation, Deerfield sites. For Inpatient rotations, APP will round both independently and collaboratively on Hepatology Inpatient Service at University of Miami hospital no later than 8 am and have proper sign-out of patients with fellows at the end of the day and prior to weekends. Recognizes deviations from normal in the physical assessment. Works in collaboration with a physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up. Writes prescriptions for medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and post-discharge care in accordance with written practice protocols. APP will independently follow patients in an outpatient setting and manage the care of patients concurrently. Initiates and facilitates clinical research protocols and coordinates patient care with research staff. Obtains complete medical history independent of supervision by the physician. See patients in follow-up in between infusions and post procedure as necessary. Initiate and Maintain infusion orders for non-chemo infusions as per protocol, as needed Orders appropriate procedures and laboratory tests according to practice guidelines.     Our three and four years after-school program is from 2:00 - 6:pm. our after-school employees will supervise students in a loving and patient manner. Students will have the opportunity to relax, have snacks and enjoy the outside play area when feasible. This candidate needs to be a team player and be able to work under a supervisor. Requirements Caring for children can be physically demanding. The Cub Care employee may be required to lift and/or carry children or equipment (up to 40 lbs.) and may spend time sitting on the floor or child-sized furniture. Expected to clean and maintain equipment and facility, and may move throughout the classroom with children. Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time, walking, bending, stooping/squatting, and reaching. May come in contact with children who are ill and/or contagious, and must take precautions to ensure the health and safety of all children, parents, staff, and themselves.
