Role Overview
As the Director of Product for Governance, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of AI and Security. You'll translate customer insights into innovative products, champion user needs, and orchestrate development from concept to release.
In addition, you will help deliver critical security, governance and compliance capabilities powered by AI for Egnyte platform and vertical industry solutions - AEC, Financial Services and Life Sciences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
● Develop groundbreaking solutions for automated, AI enabled security and comprehensive security for AI, copilots and agents.
● Partner with leadership, customers and prospects to identify opportunities where AI can scale, automate, and expedite security, compliance and governance tasks.
● Collaborate closely with UI/UX, Engineering and cross-functional teams and deliver with quick time-to-market solutions
● Define and track key business metrics that demonstrate the business impact
● Conduct hands-on market research to validate requirements and ensure we're building solutions that address real customer needs and market opportunities
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
● 5+ years of product management expertise with a proven track record in cloud security, data security and governance.
● Solid foundation in security and governance areas such as Ransomware, Insider Threats, Compliance, IAM Governance and Content Life Cycle management.
● 1 to 2 years of building AI enabled security and shipping at scale
● Experience building conversational tools and chatbots
● Leadership and people management experience
● Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization
● Experience successfully partnering with Data Science teams
● Passion for directly engaging with customers-from requirements gathering to demos and sales support
● Experience working and guiding product and engineering teams distributed globally
● Direct experience building enterprise SaaS solutions for technical users & buyers
● Technical expertise - ideally with previous software engineering experience.
Travel: Ability to travel to headquarters for 1 week per quarter as agreed upon with the Manager, if not located in the SF Bay area.

COMPENSATION:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $235k-265k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Customer Advocacy, with experience in Community and CAB Management.
Experience building cross-functional customer advocacy programs that span Customer Success, Marketing, and Product organizations.
Proven track record of building and scaling online communities that drive measurable engagement and customer satisfaction.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

**The Role**

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and operate backend APIs and data services for the Sender Security and Authentication product group. **The Role**
The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for the Proofpoint Data Security products. This includes Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) Insider Threat Management (ITM) On-Premise and SaaS, Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB), SaaS Isolation & Adaptive Access Control (AAC), and Proofpoint Isolation. This is a critical and visible role as it involves support for several of Proofpoint's top accounts. The Consultant must be confident in working with technical resources, analysts, project sponsors, and executive levels to provide excellent service delivery and communication which includes product deliverables, conducting conference calls/meetings, consulting process reviews/workshops, and briefings. The position requires the ability to work with non-technical managers and executives to develop technical and business requirements for their company's custom data security program.
**Your day-to-day**
+ Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client's operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations to optimize Proofpoint technologies.

**What you bring to the team**
+ 4+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role
+ 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
+ Familiarity with Data Security: Data Security Posture Management, Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, and/or Cloud Security concepts.
+ Proficiency in Windows Server environment; experience with web infrastructure components like IIS and MS SQL is advantageous.
+ Basic understanding of Linux infrastructure.
+ Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions is desirable.
+ Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

The Role and The Team

**Job Requirements**
