Ensuring that all Regulatory and Classification material certificates are received of all projects and that they are correct.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in ElectricalEngineering or equivalent professional experience.
Certificates/Degrees in fire protection design are a plus, but not required.
NICET Certifications in any fire system designs is a plus, but not required
Demonstrated practical understanding of fire detection/alarm system design.
Good working knowledge of planning, with the ability to schedule and monitor tasks
Excellent time management and people management skills and the proven ability to work under pressure.

Requirements:

Focus: The ElectricalEngineering Co-op supports maintenance and production with reliability, design, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role can serve as the engineering representative on small capital projects including justification, obtaining approval, ordering, and installation processes and equipment.
ElectricalEngineering Co-Op Essential Job Functions:
* Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
* Provide reliability leadership for instruments, valves, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and data analysis
* Support maintenance in development of policies and procedures for preventative and predictive maintenance
* Participate in plant turnarounds, update P&IDs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
ElectricalEngineering Co-Op Minimum Requirements:
* Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate ElectricalEngineering degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location.
* Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
* Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin
* Ability to work full time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) either January - May 2026 or August - December 2026. Not eligible for virtual work.
* Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work a minimum of three (3) terms with no more than one of those terms occurring over the summer
* Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa
* Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
* A Valid US Driver's license is required
