We're seeking a hands-on Test Technician with a solid technical foundation and strong troubleshooting abilities to support our electronic product testing operations. The ideal candidate will have formal training, certifications, or education in electronics and a working knowledge of Ohm's Law, schematic reading, and electrical power systems. This role focuses on real-world testing, debugging, and validation.
Job Duties:
Conduct electrical and electronic tests to verify performance, functionality, and compliance with production quality standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues at the component, board, and system levels using schematics and test equipment.
Develop, maintain, and improve test and burn-in processes to ensure reliability and throughput.
Review and update process specifications and documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current practices.
Monitor yields and identify root causes of test failures, coordinating corrective actions with engineering and quality teams.
Support the design, setup, and validation of new test fixtures, jigs, and diagnostic tools.
Perform firmware flashing, system configuration, and multi-unit hardware interconnects (Ethernet/BNC/twisted pair).
Set up and test complex disk arrays or power distribution assemblies as required.
Maintain preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for all test equipment.
Drive recovery and repair efforts for any downed test or burn-in stations, coordinating across maintenance and engineering teams.
Assist with new product introduction (NPI) by supporting test development and validation activities.
Qualifications:
Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent military/electronics training required.
Strong understanding of Ohm's Law, circuit fundamentals, and electrical schematics.
Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting electronic or electrical systems.
Proficiency with meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
Experience with power electronics or high-voltage systems is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed procedures, interpret technical drawings, and work independently to resolve issues.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Mechanics will spend most of their shift (8-12 hours) on their feet. They must service equipment in the plant, on the grounds, and in support buildings. This covers an area of over 50 acres. This necessitates an excellent deal of walking on wet/slippery floors and working on concrete/asphalt surfaces. Mechanics are encouraged to wear tool pouches on their waist while working (approximately 15 pounds).
Mechanics must climb on, over, under or through equipment, catwalks, railings, utility runs, small access doors, etc. Mechanics work in tight spaces under or between equipment, in crawl spaces above the ceiling and inside "confined spaces". While in these areas, they must lift, lower or support equipment, as well as exert significant force on hand tools.
Work may be performed in dusty and smoky environments (such as grinding or welding galvanized metal) will require the use of mask or respirator. Temperatures will range from -30º F to 100º F. Humidity levels will reach 100% during sanitation.

Job Description
As a Project Engineering Technician I for Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will be working under the immediate supervision/direction of a registered professional engineer. You will work as a team member alongside site managers and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services. Our special Inspections technicians play a critical role in the quality assurance for every construction project no matter how large or small. Special Inspections Technicians actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing along with the continuous monitoring of general contractor activities, which may include but are not limited to onsite testing and reporting of earthwork and soil construction; foundation/subgrade evaluation; reinforcing steel; concrete placements; masonry as well as asphalt testing. Special Inspections Technicians are also responsible for accurately preparing daily reports for submission to the assigned project engineer. These reports not only include your test results summary, but detailed construction site observations as well.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)
Ability to work outdoors on a construction site in all seasons and weather conditions for extended periods of time.
You must be self-motivated, able to efficiently work independently while completing scheduled tasks.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, BLE leadership, clients, local, state, and federal authorities of all levels.
Must be detail oriented and work in a time conscious and time effective manner.
Basic knowledge in the operation of smartphones and computers for communication and record keeping (MS Office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, lift (50 pound), tug and pull, on unstable, unpaved ground.
Applicant Requirements
All newly employed Special Inspection Technicians are mandated to acquire the Special Inspector general Requirements Certification and one of the three (3) additional certifications within three (3) months of beginning the position, and the remaining two (2) certifications within the following eighteen (18) months, such that the technician has acquired, within two (2) years, the following certifications:
