As a Field Service Engineer, Electrical & Automation USA , you will play a key role in meeting the growing demand for E&A service requests. Responsibilities: Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on Wärtsilä control systems, including Engine Control Systems, Power Management Systems (PMS), Connectivity devices (HMI, Firewalls, and Servers), and general Vessel Automation. Prepare detailed and accurate service reports to document work performed and provide recommendations for future maintenance or improvements. Conduct technical communications with Wärtsilä field service stakeholders and customers to ensure clear understanding of work progress and outcomes. Ensure that all work is executed in compliance with Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QEHS) guidelines and customer-site procedures. Support commissioning activities for Wärtsilä systems as required. Proactively advise and promote Wärtsilä products and solutions to customers.
