Nuclear Med Techs operate advanced imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners to capture the distribution of radioactive tracers inside the body. Key Responsibilities: Radiopharmaceutical Administration: Prepare and administer radioactive substances (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, ensuring correct dosage and safe handling.
