The track includes: Didactic Training Classroom sessions led by experienced ED educators and Emergency Department ED Orientation Modules from ENA via Learning Space Curriculum covering: Emergency nursing principles and best practices Management of trauma, cardiac, neurological, and pediatric emergencies Advanced life support protocols (ACLS, PALS, TNCC) Crisis resource management and team communication Documentation standards in emergency care Competency assessments to ensure clinical readiness Hands-On Clinical Training Rotations through high-acuity ED zones including trauma bays, fast-track, and critical care pods Simulation-based training for emergency scenarios, rapid response, and triage decision-making IV insertion, airway management, trauma & wound care, and emergency medication administration Direct mentorship and preceptorship from seasoned ED nurses Interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other emergency care professionals Upon completion, fellows will be equipped to function independently in all areas of the ED.
