Job Description Overview SOSi is seeking a test engineering technician with C4l and/or C5ISRT experience to support a government program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This position will support a multi-functional team and requires both strong technical and collaborative skills. Extensive on the job training will be required and the ideal candidate will embrace the knowledge transfer process. Essential Job Duties Perform test and evaluation of fixed and mobile communications equipment. Perform unit and system level testing of equipment for both RF and baseband systems. Perform standard engineering, special purpose testing, and analysis, evaluation, reverse engineering, and repair of equipment. Identify equipment and system strengths and weaknesses and recommend improvements. Develop test procedures and plans. Provide detailed written test reports. Conduct demonstrations of tests for line and supervisory personnel. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Active in-scope TS/SCI with Cl Polygraph 5 years of experience in electrical engineering. Technical writing experience. Strong oral communication skills, including conducting formal presentations. Experience with UHF, HF, and ELF frequency spectrums and encrypted communications systems. Service in US military or as a contractor/government employee supporting C4I/C5ISRT missions. Preferred Qualifications Degree in systems or electrical engineering. Completion of US Military signal school for satellite communications or civilian equivalent. 10 years of experience in electrical engineering. Additional Information Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
