Job duties will include inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles. Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts. Using independent judgment needed to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution.
Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Job Overview
The Instrumentation & Controls Field Technician supports an installed base of 24/7 power and gas production facility control systems. The sites operated by ESI and others are located nationwide and will require frequent site visits to perform maintenance and improvements as needed. We also support local water and irrigation systems in central Oregon as needed. They work closely with operations and engineering to maintain and improve installed control systems as well as assist in the installation and commissioning of new systems. The Instrumentation & Controls Field Technician is responsible for maintaining sound control system, networking, software and security methods to keep the plants functioning for optimal performance and safety. The Instrumentation & Controls Field Technician will be required, from time to time, to assist operators in equipment maintenance and rebuilds at remote sites. An ability to work independently, self-motivate, and communicate effectively with team members is of the utmost important to this role. Responsibilities and Duties
Employ analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to troubleshoot and improve control system performance and safety.
Install and assist in the commissioning of remote SCADA and PLC equipment.
Ability and willingness to travel (Estimated 75%).
Work with the operations team on issue troubleshooting and resolution.
Fabricate and wire UL508A and UL698A control panels as needed.
Identify and evaluate control system related software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
Assist in maintaining local and remote, control systems.
Support local customers.
On-Call for troubleshooting.
Serve as a help desk to prioritize and troubleshoot control system issues company wide.
Assist operations to implement and maintain a schedule for planned hardware changes.
Coordinate efforts with other personnel for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical damage of vehicles while ensuring safety and quality to ensure timely delivery of repaired vehicles. Additional responsibilities include performing light-heavy maintenance and service work.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze and evaluate damaged vehicles to determine repair or service needs and replacement of parts.
* Accurately estimate costs for repairs, maintenance and service required.
* Perform advanced, basic and minor repairs as required - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, engine and transmission, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, restraints and airbags, air conditioning and computer systems.
* Perform service and repairs following manufacturers' manuals.

You will be working with our latest prototype avionics, powertrain and mechanisms and collaborating with engineers on design iterations as well as supporting field operations to maintain our flight vehicles. Install and replace TVs, program remotes, and troubleshoot common electronic issues.
Diagnose appliances, swap out parts, or assist with full replacements when needed.
Support inventory and procurement processes to ensure tools and materials are always on hand.
Use resort systems and software to track and complete tasks effectively.
Communicate professionally with guests and team members-whether in person, over the phone, or via radio/email.
Perform hands-on maintenance and cleaning duties as directed by leadership.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, scaffolding, and other equipment while following all PPE and safety standards.
Recognize potential hazards on property and take proactive steps to ensure safety.
Deliver outstanding guest service by listening, responding, and resolving maintenance concerns promptly.

Qualifications
High school diploma (required).
