My client is a well-established machinery manufacturer specializing in the design and build of automated production equipment. They are looking to add an experienced Electro-Mechanical technician to their team to support the assembly, testing and installation of complex industrial systems.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role working closely with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to build high-quality automated machinery from start to finish, including installation on customer sites throughout the US.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician will have the following attributes:
3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly for industrial or automated machinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble precision components and subassemblies.
Skilled in electrical wiring, cable routing, and connecting motors, sensors, and control panels.
Familiar with pneumatic components, actuators, and related systems.
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for production or aftermarket repair services, focusing on electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
* Set up and operate test equipment to test complex equipment using established procedures, schematics, and relevant documentation, which may include vibration and thermal cycle testing.
* Troubleshoot complex equipment by utilizing schematics and in-depth knowledge of the assigned technology, systems, and components.
* Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring and indicating instruments to ensure they meet set standards.
* Perform repair and overhaul services for assigned technology.
* Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned, with the authority to execute all assigned tasks.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Possess a 2-year technical degree/certificate in a related discipline, equivalent military education/training, or at least 2 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years of related job experience.
* Proficient in reading and understanding technical information and instructions, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Capable of lifting/moving materials up to 35 pounds, working with hazardous materials, and working overtime as required
Desired Skills / Experience:
* Proficient in using a personal computer to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions.
* At least 3 years of related job experience.
* Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
