Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

Leads, drives and participates in CI activities--processes, results and cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Suggests alternative items and engineered solutions to improve reliability.
Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.
Studies and investigates technical and systems methods, tools, and innovations that can be implemented in ATS sites to improve maintenance practices and updates documentation.
Prepares input for cost analysis for new equipment, repair/rebuild proposals, cost savings and innovations as required.
Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data.
Provides technical contents of sales quotations and performs T&M duties as required.
Trains and coaches less proficient technician. Assumes project manager responsibilities as assigned.
Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry.
Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
May be required to travel.

The Manufacturing Technician position works in 2 or 3 shift operation on either a five or seven-day schedule. Production tasks are associated with the Hitachi reactors, the DuPont reactor, small lot size manufacturing, PD formulation, ancillary mixing and filling, and the polyimide bottling and labeling. Individuals are expected to understand and audit the cleanliness, maintenance and fitness for use of the equipment in these six production process centers. Operations will be carried out in either a special Powder handling room, a Class 10,000 manufacturing cleanroom or a Class 100 filling and labeling cleanroom.
Manufacturing Technician will perform in-process quality control testing (e.g. viscosities, acid number, pH, or similar tests). The equipment for these tests will be in the manufacturing control room. In addition, Manufacturing Technicians will be required to understand, input data to and use the EQS quality system. They will need a basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and must help the organization maintain ISO compliance.
This position requires that materials be precisely measured, fed and the process controlled in compliance with batch sheets, SOP's and SOC's. Manufacturing Technicians are expected to monitor raw material and intermediate inventory levels to assist in ensuring that they are available in sufficient amounts for production demands. They will also be called upon to perform cycle counts and audit material movement transactions. Input transactions in the inventory system (currently IPS).
Manufacturing Technicians will handle waste and RCRA “Hazardous Waste” associated with the job, (as defined in State Regulations). The Technician is also responsible for labeling and packaging finished product for shipment in the proper manner to assure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibility:
Careful and accurate performance is required so that all materials are correctly weighed, loaded, timed, and controlled to assure consistency of quality.
The Technician is responsible for recording weights of material, yield, finished inventory, temperature, instrument readings, and keeping records of the work performed and entering and updating online inventory systems. The Technician must work in an efficient manner, eliminating waste wherever possible.
All necessary personal protective equipment and cleanroom uniforms required by the job are to be worn.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. No relocation assistance is available for this position.
In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required

Must be available to work rotating 8 to 12 hours shifts

Individuals are expected to understand and audit the cleanliness, maintenance and fitness for use of the equipment in these six production process centers. Operations will be carried out in either a special Powder handling room, a Class 10,000 manufacturing cleanroom or a Class 100 filling and labeling cleanroom.
Manufacturing Technician will perform in-process quality control testing (e.g. viscosities, acid number, pH, or similar tests). The equipment for these tests will be in the manufacturing control room. In addition, Manufacturing Technicians will be required to understand, input data to and use the EQS quality system. They will need a basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and must help the organization maintain ISO compliance.
This position requires that materials be precisely measured, fed and the process controlled in compliance with batch sheets, SOP's and SOC's. Manufacturing Technicians are expected to monitor raw material and intermediate inventory levels to assist in ensuring that they are available in sufficient amounts for production demands. They will also be called upon to perform cycle counts and audit material movement transactions. Input transactions in the inventory system (currently IPS).
Manufacturing Technicians will handle waste and RCRA "Hazardous Waste" associated with the job, (as defined in State Regulations). The Technician is also responsible for labeling and packaging finished product for shipment in the proper manner to assure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibility:
Careful and accurate performance is required so that all materials are correctly weighed, loaded, timed, and controlled to assure consistency of quality.
The Technician is responsible for recording weights of material, yield, finished inventory, temperature, instrument readings, and keeping records of the work performed and entering and updating online inventory systems. The Technician must work in an efficient manner, eliminating waste wherever possible.
All necessary personal protective equipment and cleanroom uniforms required by the job are to be worn.

We are now accepting resumes for Summer 2026 internships. Opportunities are available in various engineering disciplines such as civil, environmental, water resources, transportation, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Additionally, internships are offered in planning, IT, human resources, marketing, and office services.
These internships are open to current undergraduate students from freshmen through juniors who are pursuing careers in fields related to our industry. Positions are available at various T&M office locations and typically run from late May through August.
Please note that in-person attendance at our office locations is required for this position. Specific schedules will be discussed and decided prior to your internship.
Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
Previous internship experience is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor, appearance, and attitude.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.
For engineering-specific internships:
Pursuing a degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Test Engineering Technician

This position provides support for the proprietary electronics test fixtures used in our warehouse automation, document scanning and high-speed mail extraction equipment. Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of board test/repair fixtures, performing component-level failure analysis of Field returned PCBAs, supporting the development engineers with their projects as well as supporting Electrical Assembly.

Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Electronics, Technical School education and/or equivalent hands-on experience.
3+ years' experience in a technical development environment.
A solid, fundamental understanding of Analog and Digital circuitry.
Ability to understand various technical documentation including schematics, component data sheets, test procedures, ECOs and other technical documentation.
Familiarity with all standard test equipment (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Multimeters).
Soldering experience with both through-hole and SMT.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including writing Test Procedures and build documentation.
Experience in the creation and design of printed circuit boards is a plus.
Experience with C programming for embedded designs is a huge plus.
Experience with 3D modeling (i.e. Inventor, Creo, Solidworks) is also a huge plus.
Responsibilities
Provide test fixture repair and maintenance.
Provide component-level failure analysis on Field returned PCBAs.
Create or amend test procedures and other supporting documentation.
Develop or assist with development of various test environments.
Work closely with the Test Engineers during project development, assisting as needed with documentation and debug efforts.
Work closely with Opex board repair technicians to assist with troubleshooting difficult faults while helping to increase their overall knowledge.
Support Electrical Assembly in creation and maintenance of cable/harness tests.
Assist Production with challenging system-level problems.
Skilled in troubleshooting and critical thinking.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Support real client projects by performing structural analysis, including finite element 3D modeling, design, and drafting for transportation structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structures.
Assist in quantity calculations and contribute to cost estimates.
Aid in the development of construction contract documents and review shop and working drawings.
Coordinate work activities with other disciplines as directed.
Assist in reviewing inspection reports and performing bridge load ratings under supervision.
What you'll bring to our firm:
Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures.
Demonstrated interest in bridge and structural design and analysis through prior internships or applied academic coursework.
Basic understanding of bridge design principles.
Familiarity with CADD software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a design team.
