This includes but not limited to manufacturing various subassemblies to engineering specifications, testing finished products, product safety labeling and conducting quality visual inspections. What You'll Do: Perform various operations on the product in accordance with the work orders, process record instructions and photographic library with supervision. Build products to the released drawings, verify product visually, ensure product is consistent with established specifications with supervision. Responsible for the aesthetics symmetry of the product, using a variety of methods which may include; etching, bead blasting, cleaning and labeling of purifier. Test purifiers by preforming leak checks following SEMI S2 specifications. Ensure all products are packaged per packaging specifications. Finalize all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production orders, POU logs, Labels, etc.). Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals. Prioritize work to maintain or increase on-time shipments in accordance with lead/managers' direction. Use various hand tools to complete tasks assigned. Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) as directed. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Position Summary The Production Test Team at Rantec is tasked with keeping product flowing from Manufacturing to the customer while catching items that do not meet customer specifications or Rantec standards for quality. The Test Technician is hands-on with final product and sub-assemblies, paying careful attention to detail will be the last line of defense between design or production problems and the customer. The Production Test Technician will use a wide variety of tools, instruments, and automated test systems. The position works closely with Senior Test Technicians and electrical engineers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but, are not limited to the following: Test final assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure adherence to specification. Perform tests on Rantec products as directed by the Test Supervisor. Execute Tests on the router and flag any failures. Follow the instructions in the Acceptance Test Process documents exactly and inform Supervisor if any appear to be incorrect or unclear. Identify trends in product or assembly failures during testing and notify Supervisor of your observations. Support Production Test and Test Engineering Work with other Test Technicians to ensure the Production Test and ESS areas remain clean and organized. Report to Test Engineering any test systems that are not performing correctly or are providing suspicious results. Assist the Test Supervisor in training new Test Technicians. Additional Responsibilities Ability to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, as needed. Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations. As the Company's success relies on the productivity of our team and adherence to customer product schedules, an essential function of this position is the ability to arrive to work on-time, and work each day, as scheduled. Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience AS in Electronics Technology preferred. 1 year in electrical test preferred. Experience using basic and advanced electronic measurement tools and equipment. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Experience with the MS Office suite (Excel, Word). Ability to read and complete documented processes independently. Soldering (IPC J-STD-001 certification) preferred.
