They will maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facility equipment including stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, 3 phase electrical systems such as switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and wet cell batteries and associated systems. Mechanical equipment includes CRAHU units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, water systems, air handlers and associated systems, pumps, and motors. Provides the expertise to perform complex, intricate work activities within the Relay Test department with limited supervision. Insure that copies of software are up to date and available to the rest of the team and that sufficient backup copies are maintained in a safe location. + Work nonscheduled hours when needed. **Qualifications:** + The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance role (or wire & cable experience preferred), and a proven track record of results in the installation, operation and maintenance of manufacturing processes and equipment utilized in a continuous operation. + Technical degrees considered a plus when supported with applicable experience. + A result driven individual with a proven track record in a fast paced manufacturing environment. + Strong project management abilities. + Able to manage and execute multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a daily basis. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Flexible work schedule to support facility that runs 24 hrs. a day, 7 days week. + The ability to operate all commonly used electrical/electronic test equipment including: + -Oscilloscopes, including those with signal storage + -Digital and analog multimeters, ammeters, megohmmeters, frequency meters and signal generators + -Data loggers and chart recorders + -Power Demand Analyzers + A working knowledge of computers, including PC's and those custom designed and applied as part of control systems. Incumbent must have the ability to download information, configure and setup software, apply and troubleshoot serial communications and repair systems with this type of equipment.
